Sorry I don't get the idea of putting Sawano into SEED tho? AFAIK the original composer(forgot his name) still in industry and Sawano suddenly having a composition into this one kind of an indirect insult to Kajiura and the original(imo lol). Sunrise can afford Kajiura and Sawano already busy in Hathaway so it would make sense if she will at least have part into this(if we talk about theme song ofc).

Edit: I'll just say...people on socmed expecting at Kajiura/SEE-SAW so :knife: YUUKA still on Spacecraft so nope

Kajiura only did some songs though not the soundtrack itself which was by Toshihiko Sahashi who i havent heard of for ages.

She has finished writing a score, but I'm wondering what it could be? SAO is done, Vanitas most likely since they are sharing many tracks.

Also I don't know where to post this but seeing that Yoko Kanno will be the composer in charge for the Netflix Live Action Cowboy Bebop, is the door opened to original composers on live adaptations? Especially:
-> SAO Live Action: Yuki Kajiura? She had the opportunity to drop it with the reboot but kept it, and can do live shows so...
-> Gundam Live Action: Hiroyuki Sawano? Chances are very high, but sorry man, I just want Steve Jablonsky on it (possible too because he's currently on many Netflix shows)
-> Naruto: Yasuharu Takanashi? Ngl, this would sound kind of clichee
-> Steins Gate: Takeshi Abo? Choose whoever you want, but keep the main theme
Can't see these adaptations without them. Yeah, didn't work with Death Note, or call this thing what you want.

Well…I haven’t been here for ages. (Blame it on Covid19 that makes many jobs harder than before TT.) I also think about See-Saw when I know about this project, but I guess that it’d be hard for Yuuka because of the bad blood between the late screenwriter (who was also the director’s wife) and the voice actress of Cagalli (all FJ Yuuka’s songs are the theme songs for this character). So..even they said they brought back main characters from SEED, I see a slim chance for new Yuuka’s piece. (But who know…may be they‘ve made up already?)

I guess that there may be more chance for new/re:tracks for Rie Tanaka who voices Lacus Klyne (another female main protagonist, all of her theme songs are composed by Kajiura). I saw many articles showing the screen-cap of Lacus for the event in China. I still don’t know how the character relating to the event, but it seems that this character has more chance to appear (and gets her own song) in the movie.

And to think that Field of Hope was brought to Live16…*w*.

About LiSA, most probably for the show even if not especially related to Kajiura - but why isn’t « Yuke » part of the single?
About AiMER, the single drops at the end of the first cour so maybe not for KNY, otherwise she would sing 2 theme songs? Her going on a different franchise from FSN with Kajiura so quickly doesn’t feel right imo, but one can notice the title « Asa ga Kuru » quite close from « Haru wa Yuku ». Maybe Kajiura is around the corner, even though it has happened in the past that AiMER’s new song titles were close to older songs without being related to the same composer.
