Kajiura to be announced soon or later, of course. She has to team up with Hanae and Yuri to perform the Mezame mashup and MATERIALISE, as well as Hoshi ga Kanaderu Monogatari.
 
I wonder if there's any chance of this release getting a proper hirez digital version... I kind of doubt it (stuff from the 2000s might be in a weird spot for hirez....) but would love to be wrong.

Well... you wrote "Kajiura has to * perform (this) and (that), as well as hoshi ga kanaderu monogatari" so I assumed you meant Kajiura as a major part of that song. And she's just not.

Interesting they are calling it a FILM CONCERT. Pre-recorded footage rather than actual live?
Edit: They seem to be insisting it's live, so I guess it's just going to be played with anime footage like SAO/FSN?

Back when we were working hard on the anime, we dreamed of making My-HiME and My-Otome into stage musicals or films, but we never got around to making it happen...

I'm so pleased to see that roster of vocalists! I wonder if Hanae is just going to sing the usual few songs she sings in lives, or if she's going to be doing proper chorus work with the other ladies, since she was listed as "vocals" and not "guest vocal".
 
There's no non-Hanae vocal tracks in My-HiME (if we ignore It's only the fairytale, which Hanae will definitely not be singing IMHO), and she has nothing in Otome so... uh... We shall see? The question is MATERIALISE without Yuri (as of now), would it stay with Yuriko or would they dare give it to Hanae. Everything else in Otome is lead by Yuriko.

And they better bloody perform instrumental BGMs too... There's bangers to choose from. Especially if they are going for some more iconic anime scenes in the FILM part, as they are suggesting.

Hopefully they record & release it, if it's more than just Himeboshi/Mezame/Dhuran shokan, lol.

Oh I see, it's a joint anniversary live for 2 anime. Cool!

I am a fan of Ensemble Planeta and I am warming up for a more controlled choral/classical vibe with the 4 ladies in this concert (to match Hanae), which is something we don't get often with Kajiura's vocals, depending greatly on the vocalists at hand.
 
I don't really know what you're expecting, pretty sure we got all Hanae BGM during lives before. XD

The only thing they could (and should) really do is proper Himeboshi with a.guitar, which I don't think ever happened in YK lives. Or released ones anyway.

By the way, to anyone that is thinking about watching this concert (should they stream or release it), please do yourself a favor and give the anime a try before they spoil it in the advertised film footage during the concert. XD

I'm sure more vocalists are coming to this significant live. However, though I don't want to imply or say it, we might just be getting a regular live with Hanae leading a few songs, and the rest distributed to other vocalists. I do and I hope to see a few adjustments since, as you have pointed out, this live is more or less like a classical/ choral -based live. MATERIALISE and Himeboshi O.o.

I don't know if the anime is getting a reboot as well or not, but new announcements are often made during these "film concerts."

Edit: My YT track was playing MATERIALISE (live) when I wrote this comment.
