Jumping Fish (See-Saw)--I used to think this song was boring, and then I read a review at Anime Dream where the reviewer said that Chiaki's voice overpowers Yuki's lovely piano, then I listened more closely, and it started sounding like a solo song of Chiaki's.
Mata Aeru Kara (See-Saw)--Same as above (boring at first), but then as I listened to it more, it started sounding so final. It didn't hurt that I know it's the Very Definitely Final song of the first See-Saw era. Now I love it.
Boogiepop--same as above (boring at first; seeng a pattern yet?). But then I listened to it on my MP3 player while walking alone (wearing my backpack) at night near a McDonalds. It felt both creepy and "hehe no one knows I'm here
"
Silent Ceremony--It was just plain too scary!
Then I had a dream about cooking Indian food while it played, and it creeped me the heck out.
And I could've sworn that song was Indian. Then I remembered it's from Petite Cossette and made by Yuki Kajiura. I've loved it ever since.
And since apparently, Chiaki's solo work is allowed:
Many Days Many Times--Once again, I thought it was boring, then I listened to it all the way through, and I really love it now. It sounds so sad.
Suna no Ue no Dolphin--Once again, boring. Boring enough to put me to sleep. But then I continued to listen to it and I realized it sounded like "Call The Man" by Celine Dion. That's when it became beautiful. Also, it reminds me of lay Sunday afternoons, Ecco the Dolphin (does he even do anything?), and Ecco the Dolphin on GameCube (if such a game exists; I think there's a 3-D Ecco somewhere. Also, the Gamecube's code name was Dolphin)
Shylpeed--When I listened to the samples at CD Japan, it sounded chaotic, which put me off. But then I found out how beautiful it was when I listened to the whole song, and saw the music video from Own Write.
Blue Velvet--I was put off by the sample at CD Japan, and someone saying that song was just echoes. I had to listen to the song several times, but now it's quickly growing on me.
