Ever listen to a song from the past osts and you just go : " Wait, that's actually genius." Share it under this thread :)

I was listening to fatal fight Jin-Margulis from Xenosaga II. Now I dislike the childish chorus but I love Deb Lyons but it wasn't that that made me make this thread.

Starting at 02:20, there is an instrumental section. Seems very bland at first, some sound effects then electric guitar, then subtle strings, uilleann pipes and a very secret chorus-like synth (you have to look for it) and beats to back it up. It lasts 25 seconds but adds so much more to the song that I was mystified. The ending strings + pipes of the song adds another layer to the song.

So there, share these experiences here!
 
What's wrong with the title of the thread? Shouldn't you be looking into the thread before deleting them as a moderator? Lmao

Anyways, sounds cool! thats what I love about kajiura - she always puts some secret element into her music that the naked ear won't pick up on until multiple listens ... Kind of like the lower harmony she does in "stone cold" and "progressive" that's an octave below KAORI's and HIKARU's voices, respectively.

Boots and bouts are very different things :P

As I said in another thread, relistening to the RHH OSTs, I'm rediscovering how amazing they are. It's not just the handful of tracks most known, all of them have something special

Hence why progressive is the best Kalafina song and the live performances of stone cold are gems. Don't like the live performances of progressive much. Kajiura's deep voice gives me so much life.

I didnt threaten. I said that because I thought it was advertisement, like I already explained duh. read my post again, I said "I was about" not "I am"
 
haha I never imitate people. There are other places in the internet besides ritardando's posts where you can find "duh", like comments under anime episodes in streaming sites, or youtube :3
 
To go back on topic, there have been many cases where I discovered with a more careful listen the beauty of some old musics by YK,
some of them were Kokuyou no Kimi~Amai Yuuwaku from mai-hime, most of the .hack soundtracks like mimiru epitaph, grandpa's violin and b.t, ship of fools, marrymaking, catastrophie (the bridge part) from tsubasa, and many others.

with songs this has happened with indio, swimmer, and kirai ni naritai, and maybe more that I dont remember now :XD:

The problem is that you're telling someone to change the title of the thread despite the fact that it was you who could not comprehend it. As opposed to looking up the definition of bout or even asking what it could mean, you first tell someone to change it to suit you, then you tell us what you thought it meant despite the fact that we don't care, and then you tell me that English isn't your first language in response to my gif even though I was totally aware. Oh, and you're trying to be a Smart Alec. George just stop and acknowledge what you did wrong. Jesus.
 
even if I googled it this page http://www.thefreedictionary.com/bout doesnt really help, as word has multiple meanings.

for someone who didnt know what bouts mean the title surely seemed like a spam, and i always check what the thread contains, that why I did not accidentally delete it.The title change was not to "suit" me but in order to avoid similar misunderstanding.

hm you are right on that, maybe I acted a bit rushed. the native thing was response to aki

ahah just share you experiences :)) Especially moments where you get goosebumps because it's something you have listened to before but realized much later.

YES!!! Kokuyou no Kimi-Amai Yuuwaku!! -- i recently rediscovered this song too and was like O.M.G. how did i ever overlook that one? It's fucking incredible. I also recently "rediscovered" lamentation from Xenosaga II (which is actually very similar to Kokuyou). I've been "rediscovering" a lot of Kajiura songs lately because I've been making myself Kajiura CD mixes for my car rides to work. I recently fell back in love with optimistic, prove yourself, rainbow, RUTHLESS (wow, I never realized how cool that song is), sadness, the relief, moebius, and others. I'd always enjoyed these songs before but lately I've gotten a huge second wind with them.
