And English is easier than Japanese, so it's more likely that he was the one that knew the other's language, I guess. But now it must be as niney said.

I think what aero means in his post is for everybody, not for japanese only. Like, if you have to learn English and Japanese, of course you'll master English first, because there's a lot of thing to learn if you want to learn Japanese (the kana, kanji, how to write them, blablabla).

^And there's the fact that the japanese are familiarized with the Engrish they use inside their own language, and that is sure an obstacle when trying to speak English.

Actually, I'm seriously considering skipping the whole L.A. thing and just trying to get to Tokyo for this instead.
I don't even know if I'll be allowed into whatever venue Korechan plays here, because I'm just a bit shy of 21 - which means that if he's at a place with a bar, I can just forget about it. Plus, I don't know whether he'll be bringing other guitarists or singers, whereas I know he'll be the only one doing both at the FMB live...
I dunno. If I can afford it, I want to try for Tokyo, I think.
