Well guys, so far they've released vol 2 and vol 4. They skipped vol 6 but we have hope for live vol 8 DVD! :sparkleguy:

:O No DVD... disappointment all around.
I don't mind as much, but I admit the sad tone in this topic is depressing me as well. Except for Alphie, I'll wait for a vol. 8 DVD with you!

On the other hand, ninetales finally plucked up the courage to tweet Koichi-san! Yay, ninetales! :w00t: *smacked by ninetales*

^ Well, I've actually tweeted him before. But it was a test of my courage anyway :ohoho: *refrains from smacking wintersviolet* :V:

Yes, let's hope!! :TdT:

congratulations ninetales! but i wish Koichi-san wasn't informed about the DVD and here they are suddenly, wanted to surprise us

i dont see any reason why Yuki dont make DVD/Bluray of the other lives :uh..:

^ It must be expensive to film and edit it, as well as to Studio Magic the vocals and perfect the mixing in post-production. That's all I can think of :confu:

also, if all Yuki Kajiura Lives were put into DVD, it would affect the ticket sales, since people would just purchase the DVD rather than watching it live.

A lot of money and time and work. And with seven lives so far, if they produced a DVD for each one that would be a LOT of money and time and work. And even if they found a way to release everything, they wouldn't be sure that the costs could be made up by consumer profit.

^^this.
Plus, are you sure you'd like to watch the same songs performed again and again? :ayashii:

The set list of Vol#7 was awesome, that's why i'm sad upon not hearing any news of a DVD about it., Rie Akagi is also something fresh from Yuki Kajiura Live

One more reason they didn't release vol 7 is that they need to perform the new songs as many times as possible to make them sound good enough for a DVD.

Well, they did quite well in Vol 2, even though many songs were performed for the first time (Vol 1 had a much shorter setlist).
Besides...

they need to perform the new songs as many times as possible

I thought that's what rehearsals were usually for? :XD:

Orlly?

Performing in an empty hall and in front of a thousand's audience is different, isn't it?
