This was the exact movie version, except YKL instrumentation so it lacks the untz. It's funny how YK was hyping Yuriko up for having a lot to do in Madoka movie, when this melody is literally all there is of her. (Or did I imagine YK saying that?)
I think she only said she was a featured singer, but mebbe automatic translation made it seem like she was the featured singer. She only has two tracks IIRC, right?

Unfortunately I don't remember where I even got it from. XD ykl MC? tweet? interview? ugh. Not a clue at this point. So my memory could be arse.

But yea, should be this and at least one more repetition of this vocal in a less busy investigative mystery arrange. I don't want to completely ruin the OST for myself so I'm not going back to the bili cam audio.

I'm not going to do a song by song review because I did it for my review in Osaka but to do some comparison with the show I saw:

For the course of the event, pretty similar. The only big difference is Kanata (Only Emiko/Lino Leia/Yuriko Kaida as singers). With Black Rose as a turning point (same intro of the song by the way, the one I really liked). But that doesn't mean the it was boring before it. Quieter in the audience, that's all, exactly like the way you see it in this recording at Saitama. The energy on stage was great from the beginning. By the way, even before Black Rose (At Osaka), I didn't feel it like an orchestra.. I have seen a lot of orchestras and operas for years, in the venue I didn't have the same perception that for this concert (Nier concert at Lyon which is a mix between an classical orchestra and a concert was quieter even if some songs was really applause by the audience). And orchestra live is not boring for me. And when I went to see The Corrs in the Royal Albert Hall last year (so a live concert for a pop rock band, idea pretty similar of a YKL), it was the same sensation: The audience was pretty quiet until a turning point (the song "Radio") and then was so responsive and energic for the end of the concert...

For the new songs (the ones not in the concert from Osaka) and the guests : Elenore and Madlax Mix are really great but the greatest is Materialise with an incredible soprano... No regrets that I didn't hear the other new songs. Not because of their interpretations but I prefer the other songs I heard at Osaka not played at Saitama. Ashamed I don't have record of it :(

yeah, vol2: was a joy to watch, vol 4 yuuka was a joy too, vol 21 too, somehow more energetic, expressive(?) dunno... something is missing watching vol 22. feels like no energy. Emiko in black rose is still lovely to watch though. Maybe Yuki Kajiura should start thinking about performing something 🤣. Or change the setlist? I kinda wish Emiko took over from the edge. Kaori is great, but come one... she has also a lot of solo already. Lino Leia seems to sing much lower, and slowly taking over various parts it seemed.

Until black rose it was mostly ballads thats why y'all complain it has no energy. Doesnt help that she has much smaller music production now.

The only new performances in this live we ve never seen before were M06, Kanata, and silent moon.

Silent Moon was only previously performed at the FictionJunction CLUB LIVE shows in early 2013 afaik: https://forum.canta-per-me.net/thre...members-only-live-2013-01-06.3804/post-216279

Yes, it has no energy. To be honest, when I read the setlist the last summer it did nothing to build my hype for this concert, and I was right about that. This "precious pieces" vol doesn't feel like it contains lot of precious pieces at all...

+ray of earth, right?

Kaori sang with lot of belting and vibrato-ing. I mean she started with too much power before scaling back. Lisa belts but it isn't as weighty as Kaori. Kaori can introduce lightness and breathiness into her singing, for more texture and variety, but it depends on her mood. Emiko's verse 2 start was such a difference in feel - I preferred her short lead.

Yeah, she's being built up and stabilized gradually. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm a little while she starts to song some Wakana FJ classics. She's just missing the fully developed vibrato. She still sings mostly straight tone.
