@MushiMushi hope you still had fun.

I'm sure Yuriko will be fine and back sooner, rather than later. Fingers crossed.

As for the setlist, ngl, a little shocked to see "mune no yuke". Was it Kalafina's "mune no yukue"? I was sure Kajiura wouldn't touch Kalafina's songs this soon. Good on her for standing her ground, I guess?

A little curious about nowhere. I was kind of expecting it to be by ASCA yesterday and be replaced by silly-go-round with JUNNA today. But guess it wasn't a guest song after all?

Was aikoi and koikogare with JUNNA?

Wanna listen KOI KOGARE with the girls so badly.

Edit:
Confirmed on X: Aikoi by JUNNA. Also KOI KOGARE.

Why not? She’s been performing Kalafina songs over the past few years under the “FJ” name. Yes, she replaced KEIKO and Hikaru, but that doesn’t matter lol

Edit:
I re-read translations of YK's Kalafina reunion statement and maybe I misremembered or overinterpreted it in my head when it comes to her performing those songs in the future. I'll leave the post below unaltered - it changes nothing.

I'm definitely growing more PC with age and I wouldn't have performed them so soon after that fallout, but if YK is ready and wants to do it - good for her.

It's not that I didn't expect or want Kajiura to include Kalafina's songs in her lives. I just really wasn't expecting it this soon. Didn't she state as much in her dramatic statement pre-reunion? That she wouldn't be performing those songs in her lives since Kalafina chose to get back together without her? I guess Kalafina didn't actually reform in reality but still.

I guess there is also some argument that it's an unrecorded See-Saw song but definitely a choice for the first tour after the Kalafina drama.

I'm not against it, I just wasn't expecting it so soon.

how dare YK replaced WHK for the Kalafina songs. She has replaced Wakana with more technically able Joelle, and Keiko with more technically able Emiko.

I bet those are Kalafina-stan thoughts who are sour. 😅

I'd like to know who sings what. Are there also any info which songs Asuka/Yuuko Aira has sung in the past live before? as regular?

... I'm definitely growing older.

Anyways, as far as ASUKA/Aira Yuuki goes, I want to say she only did Uta, Hoshi and Sekai no Hate outside of everlasting song and Madadameyo. (Or maybe she did some other Saeko song too, I don't remember.) I don't think she was ever part of the "lineup" in any other role but guest soloist. Feel free to correct my memory.

Why are we talking about her though? She's not participaring in this tour.

Well, this doesn’t come as a surprise to me. In fact, what was surprising was not seeing any Kalafina songs in yesterday’s setlist. Still waiting for sprinter, lmao

Cool. Maybe just me expecting some time to pass before it happened then.

I don't mind. Happy for us all that YK ain't afraid of no ghosts.

I just feel that mune no yukue was an excellent choice, as a song in itself, as something to convey YK/maybe other people's feelings in the current situation (and their attitude towards life/music but that may be an overreach).

When I saw it in the setlist my focus wasn't 'Oh Kalafina' but 'Oh it's mune no yukue'.

I don't tend to think about 'replacement' because for every single song each performance is unique and precious in their own ways! Maybe I'm too optimistic and idealistic. I do miss Keiko often and feel sad about what happened (hey, I loved Kalafina too!) but honestly I'm soooo happy that YK did mune no yukue here.

(I loved mune no yukue so much I was singing it super loudly in my dorm during highschool and played the ending piano part countless times when the The Best Red piano score was out :ohoho:. I was practising it in my boarding house's piano room and one day someone knocked on my door and asked me what song it was (praising the melody).)
