Wow thats actually very impressive ! Since Kajiura works with LiSA its not impossible she ll meet her we see her working with Kajiura as well at some point

Late about Honoo no Tobira by Joelle.
It is indeed very different take then Yuuka. I felt it was off in the beginning, but it grows over time. Joelle is fierce and dramatic. Fits quite well. And love her voice! She should sing Gaika solo!

I was watching a snippet of it not long ago and began to feel a bit differently about her performance.

Only in vol 11. Wakana was still there so she sang it all.

Neither would I.

I am happy she was allowed in YKL#21 to take some lines that only Yuriko would have sung in earlier lives.
Joelle head voice (and register transitions) shined especially in "".

Only in vol 11. Wakana was still there so she sang it all.

• In this YKL#11 version, Wakana started at the middle range (with Keiko on low harmony) and then the second time round went up to the higher range while Kaori took over her middle line (I am talking in terms of the pitches) and Keiko continued on the same low melody line. The energy of the performance was somber and the red lights supported that moody feel.
• 3:44 and 4:54 Yuriko's intermittent solo lines always get me because of her twang-y resonance.
• In the YKL#16 version, Joelle continued the middle line, while Kaori came in on the higher melody (that Wakana went to #11) and they stayed in that formation. Kaori's power and range showed. She was comfortable up there. Joelle was dramatic and moving with the beat.
• I would actually like to hear Joelle take it again with Emiko. I am curious about Emiko's forward low voice against Joelle/Kaori on this song.
