「sprinter」, which is the theme song of the 5th chapter of Kara no Kyoukai scheduled to premier this summer, and 「ARIA」, the theme song for the 4th chapter currently showing, form this double A-side single.
In addition, the instrumental version of Oblivious is also included.
The limited edition will also come with a DVD which contains the video clip for 「sprinter」 performed by Kalafina, as well as the video clip for 「oblivious」 which uses anime footage from Kara no Kyoukai. The video clip for 「oblivious」 is a special compilation from the hands of anime production company ufotable.

Chapter 5's ED 「sprinter」 is a song for the young boy Tomoe who will appear in chapter 5.
Well, with a title like "sprinter", if I made it Araya and Aruba's song and such, I think that in itself would be an incredible thing for Kajiura (I apologise that people who have not yet read the novels will have no idea what I'm talking about here). [yes... T_T]
To be honest, Kajiura cried in chapter 5 of the original story. [she's referring to herself in third person here ^^]
I don't care if people say that's embarassing of me.
From that day, whatever someone wanted to say, or rain intended to fall, or the lance intended to fall or coffee float, I decided that I would make it the young boy Tomoe's song. [sorry, I was a bit uncertain on how to interpret this sentence]
That's the type of new single it is.

from chapter 4 onwards, all four of the extravagant singing princesses of Kalafina have finally gathered.
so 「sprinter」 is a song you would definitely not be able to sing alone in karaoke (laugh)
Please take a listen to the conflict between the voices of the four princesses. [wow, I'm really looking forward to what new unique piece Kajiura has created this time! :D]
At the live on 7/31, Kalafina will appear as the Opening ACT.
It's still a secret which songs they will sing, but if I were to say something, just think: a single would have just come out, right?
For me also, I'm happy to be able to hear Kalafina's raw voice.

Why did the Calpis Paper Pack recently disappear from convenience stores?
When it gets hot, it makes me really happy to have watery Calpis with ice floating on top.
You may say, can't you just dilute Calpis water and have that, but it's different. Something is different. It's probably because I like the syrupy pouring of the undiluted solution.
I'm praying it will come back in summer.
