That is what I am envisioning for her.

Hi to all, I have not visited the forum for quite some time, as I had not much time lately.

I just listened into this great song - Lotus, and imagined:

The violin part should not be just a single one. Just imagnie how it would sound if it would be played by a orchestra with at least 20 violins or more, and the vocal part, her kajirago singed by a big choir with a lot of lovely voices.

I know that this might not be the kind of concert YK has/is planning to do, but her music deserves this.

As much as I like her popular and vocals songs, but her instrumental songs has soooo much more potential and are much underestimated and under-attended.

Just now I'm listening again to madlax 2 (:melt:) and to the Xenosaga 2 opening (:evaporate:)... . . . .

The CD version has Kiyo Kido strings credited for Lotus, so it has, at the very least, a strings quartet.

I don't think an orchestra and choir would fit Lotus though. The regular FBM, or an acoustic band would be better.

We've heard a few small orchestra arrangements of YK material by Eminence Orchestra.

As far as orchestral arrangements of songs not originally designed for orchestra, I really like the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra's Haruhi Suzumiya concert from 2009. (Arnie Roth doesn't do badly with the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds concerts either, refining them for each tour).

It would really depend on having a great arranger who could work with Yuki Kajiura.
