Yucca is a Japanese singer who is known for her songs The slightly chipped full moon (Kuroshitsuji II) and Call my name (Ghost Hound). She graduated from Tokyo college of music and she is a soprano. She sings in a wide range of genres: classical opera, rock opera, J-pop. So far she has released 4 albums (I have all of them except for the very 1st one) and a number of singles. Her hobbies are aromatherapy, fashion and bikes (cool, isn't she?). Also she has a doggy called QB - Kyuubey QooBee

i've only listened to "cras nunquam scire", and that's enough for me to love her voice :dote:
 
Yep, her only song I've heard as well, and I love it. Too bad they had to go troll and ruin the full version by Huey's blabbering recorded over - everything after the stunning first refrain just sounds as though they ripped the trailer audio. Thus making it a rare case of simultaneously one of the BEST and one of the WORST songs I've ever heard. And one of those where I decidedly prefer the TV version.

The 1st song by her I've heard was The slightly chipped full moon. I loved her high notes a lot :dote:

Woot Alphard Sokaina ... you think you (or maybe we) could make full list of songs she done outside of those that are allredy listed in her site? And i mean including stuff like Cras numquam scire (you wrote "Call my name (Dantalian no Shoka)" but isnt that from Gost Hound?) that obviously not even written on her page D:

I've heard gazillion of her songs on many different osts (but because its on so many different CDs/albums i never took noticed of her name D: ) but she really strucked me when i hear the song she done with Sato Naoki fro Ryouma-den (gosh i love his works as well <3 ~~) but finding her songs is really pain in the as because there is no list of her works D:

And as for last ... you mentioned singles? Is it possible to get them *puppy eyes* i've tried to fine some DL links for those but its practically impossible to find anything that still works D: best i managed are those 3 albums she released >_<

You know, it's really hard to find any info on her, as well as the songs that are not listed on her site :uh..: It took me a while to find the site itself :blood: I can neither read nor understand Japanese, so I google in English only and so far I've found very little of her. If you find something else, please share it here :bow:

As for her singles, I didn't manage to find the links for them. Same was for her 1st album :uh..:

Listened to the aria of the Queen of the Night sung by her through Chibi-Chibi's link, and though she got some notes slightly wrong here and there(after all it's the highest opera aria from what I know and is definitely one of the hardest), I couldn't help but be astonished, especially by her variation..! The song also suits her voice well, though I always think Yuri Kasahara(Shinada)'s voice is the perfect voice for this aria and is dying to have a chance to listen to her version. :shy:
