No, i think they do something so they have only 2 names. XD Like Lugh said, the original names of both the parents.

an example: if george's baby is a girl, and this girl has a baby with another guy (and his name is [insert name] ishikawa (father's surname) ootaki (mother's surname)), that baby's name will be [insert name] ishikawa sperelakis. Always father's surname is the first and always the first surname is inherited as first surname by the next generation.

now if george's baby is a boy (sperelakis kajiura) and this boy has a baby with another girl ([insert name] kalafina (father's surname) Kubota (mother's surname), the baby's name will be [insert name] sperelakis kalafina.

there is a draft law that wants to change this, it proposes changing the order of the surnames as the parents wish (mother's surname first or father's surname first).

And my father surname and my mather surname is González, pretty a coincidence of course, I remember that when I was a child, my friends bothering me 'cause the said that my parents were brothers or somethinf like that.

Also, a person in Chile has the same two surnames if he/sha has only one parent...
