Oddly no .hack//EXTRA.

If anyone is curious, Victor's REISSUES are "mostly" the same as the previous releases as far as music goes (just different offset). At least the ones I have are... (DreamField, FICTION, Honoh, all NOIR...)

On the physical side "blanc dans noir" reissue changed from a digipack to a regular case and the 8cm bonus disc was a regular 12cm disc in the reissue. The CD format change is also happening here on the reissued .hack//Liminality bonus disc.

I am going to guess both Xenosaga releases will be in regular 2cd cases this time, rather than double stacked ones like before.

I am a little shocked it also includes XS3 in the batch, considering they never even released it on digital.
 
Wow i might actually get XS2 and 3 both because i love them osts and to encourage future remaster of the games (*_*)

They do have those "Sakura coupons" for discounts. one is 1000 Yen off for 10k order and the other is 300Y off for 6k order and seems like you can combine them so you get 1300 off like the button says. They re until April 1st only though.
 
I was about to order and noticed Aoi Teshima's best album is already sold out on CDJ, wut. Lame.

Guess I'm going to wait 'til the last moment of this sakura promo, hoping they change the status to "at supplier" or something...

Well, Teshima's album is sadly still not available but I'm sure glad I waited. I was not expecting to have some extra quarterly points to use when I logged in today, lol.

Keeping my fingers crossed no new Kajiura related CDs get announced before this ships...

If anyone's a registered CDJ user, do check if you didn't get some quarterly reward points that you could use with the sakura promo (before it runs out in a few hours).
 
Did you see the shipment suspension notice that started from March 5 ? Basically they stop shipping ECMS to whole EU due to some Japan Post issue. Are they having a strike or something ? https://www.cdjapan.co.jp/info/20200401 oh yea its a strike as mentioned at the November notice... But they still take orders. Currently for my country they only have DHL EMS and Airmail (aka the most expensive options).

I guess "not insured" means if package lost we do nothing about it.

I guess i wait until ECMS is back because it far cheaper than what the sakura discount gives.

Do whatever you feel is right for you. I'm not forcing anyone to buy anything.

I've always used DHL from Japan. I don't remember AmazonJP ever presenting another option, and with CDJ it just worked out that way. Is it expensive? Sure fucking is. As all importing.
 
I didnt order cause the coupon only applies to the order amount not the full price that includes the shipping charge and as a result the 2 OSTs were not expensive enough for any of the 2 coupons. Maybe they ll have a better discount around Easter or Summer :)
 
Hmm. To be honest, I don't think you should expect to be that lucky on CDJ with promos/discounts on small orders (of anime stuff). I never am.

And when it comes to AmazonJP then, sadly, they haven't been shipping new Victor, Sony/Aniplex releases internationally for quite some time now. I don't know why. Unless it's just me. Try to look up some recent Victor/Sony release and see if it even pops up for you (sold/shipping by Amazon).

I think some folks were using yesasia but I have no experience with them. Discount or otherwise.

Being a fan and importing is pain.
