So Tetsuya Takahashi (one of the creators of Xenosaga series) and founder of Monolith Soft has decided to make a new game, called "Xenoblade" but it will be unreleated to Xenosaga series. It will be released for Wii console and Yoko Shimomura will score the music (Kingdom Hearts, FF versus XIII etc http://www.squareenixmusic.com/composer ... ndex.shtml )

Tetsuya said that it will have much shorter video scenes that the xenosaga games, its also possible that the English version will have differenet name

The music is so awesome ( as expected from Yoko Shimura :dote: ) and the characters look well drawn. Release date in Japan is June 6 2010 if I am not mistaken.

I'm very excited about this game, although I can't play it.
Another thing I'm happy is, that the musics. I heard somewhere, Yasunori Mitsuda will have his hands there too, and create the ending theme song.

I hope it is right.
 
Sadly the game is not multi-plataform =/
But I hope it turn out to be a very good RPG =)
And I will surely wait for the OST to come out <3

The lossless seems to have been on p2p for a while now, so I guess it shouldn't take too long.

As for myself... I'll wait for an orchestral arrange CD. :P

My Impression of this OST isn't as strong as for Xenosaga OST (I - III) nor Xenogears.
But overall it is nice.

Somehow it lacks of epicness, darkness other Xeno games have offered,
 
Actually this Xeno is not related with the previous ones, the "Xeno" part was given only because of the director, check the quote of the first post.

So you cant compare them.
 
I know that there isn't any relation with the previous Xeno, except the "Xeno"-title.
And being a xeno title, it isn't just epic as the other xenos.

Just like FF7 OST > FF10 OST.
