Wow, so many composers listed.

I'm surprised no-one mentioned:

Ryuichi Sakamoto (Royal Space Force, Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence, The Last Emperor);
YMO bass player Haruomi Hosono (Night on the Galactic Railroad and this promo song for Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mvuDxs4Ot4
Akiko Yanno (formerly married to Ryuichi Sakamoto), although her singing style is an acquired taste, I did find a clip of her and the following person:
most importantly, Hiromi Uehara:

2 different clips of "Haze" (solo):

low resolution: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hftj2jne4xU
high resolution with a little talking in it to stop people ripping the track /-: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XD1mV8Jnq4Y

Return of the Kung-Fu World Champion (trio and mind-blowing at that):

Please let me know if you like any of those clips.
