I think you might have misunderstood me there.

You said you don't get much contact with your friends. I just meant that if you don't see anyone then you have no-one to fall in love with. The unobtainables I was talking about are the anime characters.

There's not really a written manual. Just remember that other people have feelings that need to be considered and everyone has a different view on things. So long as you're careful not to upset people, you should be just fine.

I hope your parents will open their minds and understand that they need to let you out to socialize :cry: I know a lot of my parents' friends in asia do the same thing to their children --- keep them at home to make sure they don't receive any bad influence from those "bad" kids, and only study...

btw I sometimes fall for anime characters too :plot: especially fai from tsubasa <3 <3 but it's such a different feeling from real people! I don't think its possible for me to seriously "want to marry" someone that I know isn't real. Maybe if you get to go out more you will see both sides..

I wish there was something that could be done to convince your parents to let you out~ then you can meet many real people! Maybe you can look up some scientific papers about the problems with keeping children in isolation and read it to them :ayashii:
 
That's a problem which is hard to deal with..
being not socialized to other people..
I hope they (your parents) would understand this kind of situation..
I recommend you to have a nice talk with them..
You shouldn't be like that for the rest of your life..
you are missing many simple things in life..
