I've been going on a 90s nostalgia binge lately. I'm really stoked about the My Bloody Valentine CD reissues and I'm revisiting Soundgarden's back catalogue ahead of the rumoured comeback. Superunknown is my fave, but I have Badmotorfinger on ATM while I'm cooking.

I dunno...my playlist is going really crazy-eclectic, from classical and pop to noisy post-whatever guitar music that I wouldn't have touched a few years ago. It's weird.

I keep coming back to Depeche mode though, partly because the vocal range is in a comfortable region for me to sing along to. :spotlight:

^ Actually, I'm not sure. His name is Masuzaki Takashi and he's worked with Kajiura-sensei before, but that's all I know about him. I don't see her name on his Wikipedia page, though, so he probably hasn't worked with her.

^ OK, I'll have to look up who the "Cherry Boys" guitarists in Nana Mizuki's band are.

@Kugayama & ninetales: I didn't recognise him either, but I'm glad you posted the vid up...it was awesome stuff! I don't usually pay much attention to the really fast virtuosity-orientated playing style, but watching people jam together like that and bounce ideas off one another is a lot of fun. Besides, Korenaga-sensei seems to be really good at getting that style of guitar playing to work in the context of the songs he plays in rather than shredding away for its own sake like some musicians do. What a guy. :stars:
