Sakura no Okori (Code: Dragon Blood Theme Song) / Yasuharu Takanashi ft. Miki Masuda
Like the verse and especially the bridges with choirs but damn the chorus destroys it all it's freaking ridiculous

Also Gegege no Kitaro OST 2 and Bakugan Battle Planet, both released earlier this month
(yet another soundtrack expected today, never enough of never-changing-Takanashi)

Are we sure the refrain wasn't by Revo? lol.

PS. Did MIKI ever have a solo in Takanashi's works before now (not counting the unreleased version of Day and Night from SHIKI)?

Haha.

No, I think it's the first time .
(I thought I knew all of his 37 songs but do you mean that there's a vocal/lyrics version of Day and Night ???)

I had a seizure the day before Easter and since then have been having extreme dizziness and the epitome of random dreams and impulses that I cannot control (pray for me, it’s getting really frustrating, I feel like I’m genuinely sinking into actual retardation and I’m very scared). One of these is that I had in my mind a vision for hours of the present FictionJunction singing “He Lives In You” from The Lion King musical, and so have not been able to stop singing and listening to that song since 11:30 yesterday night. The song is GREAT, but that vision of Keiko as Rafiki was an experience.

I’d never heard of this group until last night as I have to be in a mood for American R&B and related stuff due to common themes, but June’s Diary has a nice little gathering of songs and some fabulous harmony. I especially enjoy their alto, even more so with finding out that she’s my age and was originally a jazz singer.

Shangri-la-Angela (such a good song, my friend (who went to Anime Boston with me) used to want to listen to it over and over in the car on the way to school heh it's so catchy)

Im trying to get a hold of Angela's last two major Blu-Ray disc releases. For some reason it seems overseas fans stopped pirating her stuff very well. Of course I'm too poor to import them myself right now but if I do, maybe I will let you know.
