Waiting for Kara no Kyoukai: Satsujin Kosatsu (part 2) OST

A stock piece. They do it with music clips and sound clips.

Much like the sound of cicadas in 3/4 of the anime's ever made.

There's a new trailer on the official site. The audio quality of the BGM is srsly lacking... I hope it's not the actual quality of the track, lol.

The song played at 1:08 to the end was beautiful, but the player kept pausing every half-second and my ears were raped.

Also, 俺をやれよ! ಠ_ಠ

M19+20 was close to the end of the tracklist, too.
Don't most battles in KnK take place near the end of the movie?

I agree with grunty, it's probably the "it's all over now and isn't the ending sweet/bittersweet pretty pretty song".

so, i'm sure this was probably explained somewhere but why is it called part 2? is there a part 1, or was that at the end of the 6th film or something. i am a bit confused. :desksweat: but I love that the soundtrack is so long. more Yuki woot! can't wait.

its "part two" of the 2nd movie,

2nd movie was titled "Satsujin Kosatsu (part 1)"
and the 7th "Satsujin Kosatsu (part 2)"

As I understand it, this one is also so long because it's set in two parts, after Satsujin Kousatsu (Part 1) as well as after Boukyaku Rokuon.

So far we're left under the impression that the accident that put Shiki into coma occured soon after the end of Movie 2. Seems like the second part will have a lot to show, for that matter.
Of course,
Movie 5 offered a short flashback of Shiki and Kokuto confronting Araya in a prettry much the same scenery, but I don't know yet, where to tie it.

Uh, it's not a direct sequel to the 2nd one... It happens chronologically last, although yes, it does have flashbacks to the "car accident" from the ending of the 2nd movie, much like the 5th movie.

It's "Part 2" because it's dealing with the same thing that "Part 1" is, namely - the murders occuring all over the town. The murderer from the 2nd movie is revealed in the 7th one - if you didn't figure out who it was yet for some reason even though he was shown numerous times...

And it's long because it has a lot to cover. Also, as I said before, the theatrical run was ~15 minutes shorter than the announced DVD time so they might be including the epilogue on DVD (but treat it as a rumour since there's no confirmation on this).

ahh, i see now. yeah, didn't see it had the same name as the other one. *smacks head* and 15 mins longer on the dvd? that would be great, since it means more music by yuki. hehe i will hopefully preorder mine next week.
