This video and music was so moving to me the first time I saw it.

With the koto and shakuhakitaiko setting the mood, and the taiko drums and Yuko's soaring shigin coming in dramatically on those minor tones, I felt like I was transported into ancient Japan.

Immediately the double-time with full band came in (drum set, bass, and then electric guitar) I was so hyped!!! With the dragon animation as well!!! Woww!

Then the return to half-time (or normal time) with the chorus.

This song was a journey!

That's one reason I really enjoy WagakkiBand's music and Yuko's vocals and mission. I feel they are really important band to project Japanese cultural music at a high-level and make it known to the current generations, not as something distant and foregone, but something alive, present, and a source of strength, unique identity, and not something to be ashamed of, or reject.

It also shows high excellence in quality production of Japanese classical music for modern sensibilities.
