Hi! Uh, I've been a fan of Kajiura-san/Kalafina for about a year now (After Eden was just coming out), and have been lurking around here ever since, so I figured I'd better join.
I found Kalafina through itunes-searching, listened to fairytale, and immediately went to CDjapan to order it,
-along with Lacrimosa (and I am rather proud-stupid, I know,to say I did not find that song/Kalafina through Black Butler
) I think that all of Kalafina have gorgeous voices, but I especially love Keiko-san's deep voice (it was her solo in fairytale that made me buy the single).
So far, I've seen Noir and Puella Magi Madoka Magica (and Magia is one of my favorites), and have looked a bit into FictionJunction. I have a few of Kalafina's CDs, but not much else to say/show for myself other than that...
Aside from Kalafina/FictionJunction/anything-I-hear-involving-Kajiura-san, I listen to another Japanese trio called Perfume, Imogen Heap, Florence and the Machine and a bit of Enya now and then. that would be techno-pop, electronic-ness, I-don't-know-what-to-call-it, and new age-nessSo, eclectic much? I also like to draw and take pictures of random stuff that happens to catch my eye, and am trying to write a few stories and lyric/poems (it could go either way, I guess).
So, that's me, I guess.
Erm, I look forward to meeting everybody and getting to know more about all of Kajiura-san's projects and hopefully seeing her or Kalafina live sometime! Nice to meet you all!
And I'll say it now: this forum has the BEST smilies ever!
(And I'm sorry in advance for all of the hyphens, parentheses, smilies, and small text, I type too much....
