Um... Hello....

Hi! Uh, I've been a fan of Kajiura-san/Kalafina for about a year now (After Eden was just coming out), and have been lurking around here ever since, so I figured I'd better join.
I found Kalafina through itunes-searching, listened to fairytale, and immediately went to CDjapan to order it, :ohoho: -along with Lacrimosa (and I am rather proud-stupid, I know,to say I did not find that song/Kalafina through Black Butler :psst: ) I think that all of Kalafina have gorgeous voices, but I especially love Keiko-san's deep voice (it was her solo in fairytale that made me buy the single).

So far, I've seen Noir and Puella Magi Madoka Magica (and Magia is one of my favorites), and have looked a bit into FictionJunction. I have a few of Kalafina's CDs, but not much else to say/show for myself other than that...

Aside from Kalafina/FictionJunction/anything-I-hear-involving-Kajiura-san, I listen to another Japanese trio called Perfume, Imogen Heap, Florence and the Machine and a bit of Enya now and then. that would be techno-pop, electronic-ness, I-don't-know-what-to-call-it, and new age-nessSo, eclectic much? I also like to draw and take pictures of random stuff that happens to catch my eye, and am trying to write a few stories and lyric/poems (it could go either way, I guess).

So, that's me, I guess. :confu: Erm, I look forward to meeting everybody and getting to know more about all of Kajiura-san's projects and hopefully seeing her or Kalafina live sometime! Nice to meet you all!

Welcome Descratic, I hope that you can get to see Yuki Kajiura and her singers in live performance soon (so far I've seen Kalafina once and Chiaki Ishikawa twice, looking forward to seeing Yuuka Nanri and Yuki Kajiura for the first time and seeing Chiaki Ishikawa again).

(honestly, though this community feels more welcoming and warm than the other fan communities I've been to for other groups/stuff-lurking for a bit gives one the idea of the general feel of the community.)

...The U.S., and nowhere near enough to Boston or LA or anywhere Kalafina or FictionJunction to be able to go.... :rain:

Welcome! I am either Lina or Liana. I found Kalafina through Garden of Sinners, and saw them in Boston. (I know I'm not near those cities either. *sigh* I wish I was) Hope you enjoy your stay here! :dote:

Yup! :shy: I don't really like to pick favorites, and I admire Wakana and Hikaru's range (especially Hikaru's), and I like Yuriko Kaida voice, but Keiko's is definitely the most enchanting, in my opinion (so it was interesting to hear how differently she started out, compared to the others, in the Kalafina Record interview).
