No, believe me. Listen to Everytime you kissed me and you'll hear ENGRISH everywhere.

I thought so too, but then I listened to Everytime you kissed me :blood:

And actually tsubasa is already full of Engrish, OH MAI GAWD. Can't you hear it?! :white:

I thought Kaori's english is already fairly good...Every time you kissed me (Live 5) is not that engrish for a japanese singer lol At least I can understand most of the words.

But I'm still looking forward Kajiura will feature Hikaru in her english songs

:ohoho:

1. Gin no Hashi
2. Mezame
3, Parallel hearts/Liminality/Materialise/Ensei/Houseki

the other songs were so-so :S well ive only heard the "best of" and some of the songs of vol 4 part 2, but one thing

TOO MUCH ENGRISH :blood:

oh i forgot synchronity, slip that into 3) as keiko sama is just too badass in it :nosebleed:

but yes really the ENGRISH is bad ><

for example in liminality

when yuriko sings iirc "in the land of twilight" she breaks "twilight" up because the syllables of "twilight" in japanese would be
TU WA I RA I TO. no matter how beautiful they sing in that song that part always makes me cry and not in a good way. Wakana was better in her pronunciation of "twilight" in the first part (it actually sounded like english!) but still...

I think Kaori's the best English singer out of them all. Wakana's pretty good too. :sparkleguy:
And yeah, Yuriko's pronounciation bothers me a bit at times too, but her voice makes up for it. :XD:
I think her best English was in "Lullaby."
And I didn't like Keiko in "the world." I thought her words were too... um... slurred? I don't know how else to describe it...

I was gonna say "blur" lol. But yes they sing English lyrics in a way it doesn't sound like English, it sound like Japanese instead.
I think Kaori and Hikaru speaks particularly good English. Others are just average (for a japanese person)
Bear in mind tho, singing in a foreign language is hard. I don't expect much on their pronunciation on English song. And nevertheless, these songs are awesomely done (composing-wise and performance-wise), and in fact, most of my favorite are english songs.

Oh, no. They all do a great job (especially when compared to other Japanese singers); I was just comparing them to eachother.
What does Hikaru sing in English in? :confu:

I don't think she sing any english songs in Kalafina, but see from her previous promo video of the Asia tour, and some vids taken in Boston 2009, you can tell she speaks english quite well. And that's why I am hoping Yuki will feature her in english song :P

update??

1.) a farewell song
2.) i reach for the sun
3.) himeboshi xx mezame

1. Zodiacal Sign
2. I reach for the sun
3. Himaboshi~Mezame

Ohhh. I thought you guys meant that she's already sang english and I was like, "woah, where was I?" xD
Yeah, I've heard her speak english and I think she's pretty good as well.

gaah cant decide which version of mezame i want
the one from BEST OF (no idea where that one is from)
or the one from LIVE vol 4 part 2

the vol 4 one has that awesome scream by keiko in the violin solo (i never knew that her voice could be that high, if her higher notes are as sexy as her normal singing it would be worth listening to her sing higher :XD: ) but has that very weird and if i dare say, out of tune ending by wakana :x

the BEST OF doesnt have keiko sama but then it doesnt have a blatently weird ending (it was still somewhat out of tune imo)

do i take the good with the bad or play it safe :x

man i do love the costumes of vol 4 part 2, not overly frilly like most of their other costumes XD especially love that white skirt of Wakana's. And keiko's legs :nosebleed:

and in the vid of Gin no Hashi at around 1:48 that part when Keiko looks at you, smiles and nods her head, hand to her chest, as if she totally understands you.... :shy:

ITS TOO MUCH FOR ME!!! *dies from overexcitement*

no wonder its my favourite LIVE song, especially to watch :XD:

1. Ensei + Mezame
2. Zodiacal Sign
3. And a cross between Yume no Tsubasa/Fake Wings

:shy:
