The whereabouts of VARETE...

It was due to her area's internet problems and broken PC that we didnt managed to send the YK birthday gift in August 6. There was an idea to send it as christmass present instead, but if she continues to be absent, we wont be able send it this time too. Do you know WHERE she is ?

Two solutions:
1. Find where varete is, and ask about her PC and internet's situation
2. Find someone else (do you know any ?) to do the project from scratch using the gathered material, if varete has no more time to work on it she could send the material she has made so far -if its still there- to the new person.
 
The problem is that no one here knows who is close to Varete IRL.

I believe we should focus on the second solution right away, and make a decent Christmas gift for Yuki Kajiura at least...

As for the person who will take Varete's spot, I am not that capable enough, but I can do some assisting tasks when needed.
 
And don't you have Varete's facebook acount either? Or the e-mail???
 
Regardless of whether Varete can help any more or not, I would like her to know that we appreciate her for all her past help with CPM.
 
I'll try to contact her (though I may not be able to if her internet's still down)
 
And here I've always thought that you guys have known each other for ages.
Hope her internet problems will be solved soon and manage to send in the gift on time.

^Actually we CPMers mostly contact others through the Internet only, so it's hard to do anything if someone can't access the Net.
From what Varete told me, her neighborhood's internet got probs, and using 3G on her phone was very costly. I think her school has wifi, but she's usually too busy at school to log into CPM chat or forum.
There's a high chance that some of her homework is sent via email, so if u guys want to, I can send her a mail and pray she will take a look at it. :bow:

Nyan seems to have her mobile phone number since she somehow talks with her even when she has no internet or PC...

Why make a christmass gift if we have gathered so many things for the previous present ? We should just send the one we were about to send, just maybe without the map. Besides a christmass gift will be too cliche themed,
christmass trees, snow, etc :XD:

@Insidia: No she's a relatively new member, since she joined on May 2012, while I am around since 2007. She was just the only one that had the knowledge to put all the meterial together (she called the cookbook "plain").

The only thing I blame her for is that she delayed working on the book, believing she could do it all fast in the last days, other than that she was dependable.

The only person I know for ages is Kerahna, who I know from a bit before I come in this site/forum :XD:
 
If we go with Solution 2, let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
 
I talk with Nyan on the MMO we play. So far as I know, Varete is begging her parents for a new computer and is undergoing internet withdrawal.
 
:white: So that means her internet prob was solved already. Nobody told me... :(
 
All lies, i bet she is having fun with her new bf and is now a fan of lady gaga :cry:
