I'm on Propeller/Flying stage and I think I'm not enjoying it that much. It's well made and I can see why people like/d it but since I like exploration more than just stage based platforming, I don't think I was the target.
I raged pretty hard on the Clockwork stage before it. Gold respawns made it impossible to recover moneys after dying in the pits or on the vertical scroll. (Or at least I couldn't figure out how to get the bags from under Knight's level - nothing I threw at it would collect it. inb4 you could pogo on the bags and I never tried.)
 
@grunty Aw sorry you're not enjoying it

Wish I had another game to recommend for exploration but other than elden ring nothing really comes to mind :(
 
Nobody else enjoying the Trails RPGs? I've played the Crossbell arc and now I'm playing the Erebonia arc (Cold Steel).

Could these be the most intellectual RPGs in existence? Presentation is very novel-like, battles require quite a bit of thinking in the hardest difficulty, and the major themes are bordering on academic (there is a lot that deals in areas of sociology, history, psychology and philosophy). It's a very relevant series if we consider the world today.

I have the Tales of Symphonia game OST, and the Tales of Symphonia OVA's and their music, but haven't been a game-player.

So I watched the trailer a couple more times, talked to Stan on the official site, looked at all the screenshots and information there and...
As of now I think I actually like the artstyle but sadly dislike how everything is animated... a lot...
Here's hoping I get used to it and that only Guybrush is playable...
