Its a South America made player as far as I know, its good but it has a bug: when you want to go forward on a video it reduces the speed for some reason and you need to restore it to "normal"
There is no reason to replace your old Windows Media Player if you are comfortabe with it. But if no one can change the video to a WMV format, that's fine. I'll probably buy the DVD soon anyway, since I've realized the benefits of CDJapan's reward-point program
