The positive Yuki-related thread

I love almost all the Saeko Chiba songs I've managed to find~ :sohappy: Especially Hajimari no Keshiki~ :sohappy:

I love how Yuki always surprises me! I'll run into songs sung by her vocalists (not knowing Yuki's involved) thinking it's magnificent yet familiar... And when I find out Yuki is behind it after research of the vocalist, I get happy!

:sohappy:

well for me it would be her Gundam Seed/Destiny project though she didn't did the osts but the insert and a number of closing songs.for osts, it was Madlax for me. but hey i love all Yuki Kajiura osts, i may have lesser favorites or songs/music that i listen to less. El Cazador, Mai Hime, pandora hearts, Works for Soundtracks, Historia.

I still adore The world and key of twilight even I have been listening them for 5+ years :nosebleed:
i loved "The World" live before i adored Emily's version XD

.hack is definitely my favorite of Yuki's works. Its what introduced me to her works although I never took full interest in her till Kalafina's sprinter :shy:

I really love Emily Bidinger on those tracks. It was unlike anything else I've heard at the time honestly. It was definitely breathtaking. The series was weird sometimes :XD:

It really seems a bit grotesque - this being the site "where we worship Yuki Kajiura", there is a need for a separate flame-free topic to praise her works? Insert lolwut tag here. :desksweat: :XD:
But as a general thread, it's quite alright to have. We did have something like that before, but it sunk into the depth of the subforum. :comeback:

Anyway, I really like this song. It's not exactly recent, but I still love it, so it counts, right? I think I said that the Mai-HiME soundtrack is my favourite...

A great song indeed, although I prefer its reprise at the end of OST2 :dote: :dote: :dote:

I prefer the original, but I always tend to love reprises. Ahhhh, and with how much I love Mai-HiME, too, it makes me insanely biased.

Also, the more I listen to "After Eden", the more I actually like it. It's really growing on me, like poisonous fungi. "in your eyes" and "neverending" are in my top five for that album, definitely. And I love "sandpiper" just for the feel it gives, since it sounds like... What I described between "serenato" and "sandpiper" in the After Eden thread.

Seventh Heaven - Inviting
Red Moon - Intense
After Eden - Therapeutic

Or maybe if we compare it to weather... Seventh heaven is like that dark quiet moment before it rains... Red Moon is the storm... And After Eden is "good bye bad weather".. :XD:

~I love all three albums, since they filled me almost all the genres I needed in my everyday life... And I can't even choose which of them is my most favorite... Kalafina is great~! YK is awesome~!!! :sohappy:

I love the solo in Magnolia~ :cheer:

I want to see Magnolia and D.U. live, with appropriate editing on the solos!

^agreed. Magnolia and D.U Lives would be awesome

And yeah when I was reading all the comments of After Eden I felt worried. Indeed when I first listened through I DID start to think that it wasn't good, but after my initial state of mind had worn off and I listened to the songs more, I came to the conclusion that After Eden is just as good as Red Moon and Seventh Heaven. I may still not be a huge fan of some of the songs in After Eden (Kugatsu, kotonoha), but the presence of Eden, Sandpiper, Magia, DU, Magnolia, Mune and Symphonia affirms my confidence in the work. Seventh Heaven holds "nolstalgic" value for me due to KnK soundtrack and EDs introducing me to Kajiura, and Red Moon is my favourite album of the three due to my natural preference for darker songs, but "After Eden" is equal at least to Seventh Heaven in my eyes.
