Storm is such a beautiful song, I'm surprised no one's translated it yet This time I'm going to post the Japanese lyrics along with my translation, because I made a few corrections here and there from what I could hear.
When I listened, I heard 'kiteru wo' instead of 'kiteru no'. But I think 'what I will already be wearing' part is pretty much wrong
Is 'given grassland' right?
Originally it was 'chiri chiri', but I thought I heard 'jirijiri', and that translates to 'slowly approaching', so it might make more sense. Or there might be a meaning to 'chiri chiri' that my dictionary doesn't have. But I don't know what 'yuunagi' means, so I couldn't figure it out anyway
I'm not sure if the last lines are 'surely returning inside your heart' or 'surely inside your heart. I am returning'.
As always, I'd appreciate some help Thanks in advance
shizuka ni futari wo tsutsundeita
kirei na ugokanai jikan kara
hane wo hiroge tobitatsu toki ga
mou soba ni kiteru wo
I was quietly veiling two people
from the beautiful immovability of time
when I spread my wings and fly away
next to what I will already be wearing
When I listened, I heard 'kiteru wo' instead of 'kiteru no'. But I think 'what I will already be wearing' part is pretty much wrong
midori no yoru no naka yorisotte
mukuchi na nagusame wo kureta kara
donna toki mo sono nukumori wo
dakishimete yukeru
inside the green night I snuggled up to you
because you gave me reticent confort
what time too I am embracing this
warmth
yume no sumu kono basho wo mamoritai zutto
kaze no oto unmei no uta ga hibiite
tomoshibi wo te ni totte fuyuzora wo terasu
mune no hoshi wo tada shinjite
sora wo yuku tori-tachi no kawasu nakigoe
kurete yuku sougen ni hibiiteru yo
yasuragi no daichi he to kaeru tame
saigo no kaze wo koete yuku
I want to protect the clear dream of this place more
the sound of the wind, the song of fate was echoing
in the light, I took your hand, illuminating the winter sky
and only believing in the heart of the stars
going into the sky, the birds' avoided cries
are resounding in the given grassland
in order to return to the peaceful earth
I am passing through the last wind
Is 'given grassland' right?
hitai ni jirijiri to yuunagi ga
arashi no yokan wo hakondekuru
anata ni fuku kaze no subete wo
uketomete agetai
on your forehead ?????
carried the lingering winter storm
I blow it to you, and I caught
and wanted to give you every wind
Originally it was 'chiri chiri', but I thought I heard 'jirijiri', and that translates to 'slowly approaching', so it might make more sense. Or there might be a meaning to 'chiri chiri' that my dictionary doesn't have. But I don't know what 'yuunagi' means, so I couldn't figure it out anyway
yasashii jikan dake de ii no ni
inochi wa setsunasa wo kureru no ne
futari de ita yorokobi dake wo
dakishimete yuku wa
in spite of only gentle time
life is giving us painfulness
it went to two people, embracing
only joy
ai no sumu kono basho wo mamoritai zutto
karada goto unmei ni yakarete mo ii
tomoshibi wo te ni totte fuyuzora wo terasu
mune no hoshi wo tada shinjite
sora wo yuku tori-tachi no kawasu nakigoe
kurete yuku sougen ni hibiiteru yo
arashi wo koete tadoritsuku basho wa
kitto anata no mune no naka
kaeru wa...
I want to protect the clear love of this place more
burning too each body's fate
in the light, I took your hand, illuminating the winter sky
and only believing in the heart of the stars
going into the sky, the birds' avoided cries
are resounding in the given grassland
I passed through the storm, struggling along to the place
surely returning
inside your heart...
I'm not sure if the last lines are 'surely returning inside your heart' or 'surely inside your heart. I am returning'.
As always, I'd appreciate some help Thanks in advance
