Slime Boukenki - Umi da, Yeah!

Oh great :D

I really wanna hear the music there, since Kera and Nick said as far as they watch the anime, they couldn't find anything that resembles kajiura's work.

thanks tsuba & nick!

it gave me an eat-man x boogiepop feeling at the end, but it was a tough one.

Oh its truly her!

But its true that the sound is closer to boogiepop or eatman than any other of her works :XD:

Yeah, I got that feeling too. That's why I kinda skipped the anime and went straight to the end credit :XD:

Thanks a trillion! :sohappy:
Can't wait to hear it properly. :ayashii: Especially if, as you claim, it bears semblance to Boogiepop. :stars: And all the style notions in general might turn out to be apt - it IS the year 1999 we're talking, with both Eatman and Boogiepop in the temporal neighbourhood. :ayashii:
So we can add Dragon Quest to the list of franchises Yuki's been involved with... :groucho: :plot:

Makes sense. Respond every time, and soon you'll be piled by questions like "Who's singing in this song - Eri, Wakana or Hanae?", "Who plays drums here? I can't DL the booklet anywhere to check it" and "Did you secretly write for Final Fantasy under Nobue Uematsu alias?" And ultimately escalating to questions like "Where's mah Fate/Zero trailer music?", "Do you plan to use Sis Puella Magica any more in the movies?" and "Why don't you hire Michael J. Bay for Kalafina PVs?"...

Yuki's life would become hell :vortex:

Yup...it might seem unfair, but it's pretty logical :XD: :XD:

EDIT

Huh, very interesting song at the beginning here. I don't think I've heard something like it from Kajiura-sensei before, although that little synth melody is definitely something she'd do. Maybe it's Double Cast-like? :confu:

To be honest, this is probably the sort of show that would freak me out if I'd watched it as a kid :XD:

Okay, the song at 3:30 or so is definitely Kajiura style. Sheesh, that wolf thing is a moron. Does he ever shut up when he's actually out of the water? :uh..:

The song at 5:45 or so is definitely Kajiura style too...as short-lasting as it is. Same for the one at 6:30, or somewhere around there. Although it's tough to hear behind all the characters' screaming.

Oh hey, I heard that classic drum sound that was used in a lot of Chiba Saeko songs at 8:55! :XD: The rest of the song is very Boogiepop...I think I hear a bit of an organ there, and there's the classic Kajiura-esque melody on synth strings too. Sheesh, this part would've given me nightmares. I'd love to have a clear recording of this song, though. It almost reminds me of one of her sample pieces like H's Song.

The next song is pretty promising. It sounds like a Double Cast/Mai-Hime combo to me, with the upbeat sound and the kinda panicky melody. More weird nightmarish stuff. I somehow can't imagine this getting into an American kids' show.

Nice jazzy piano at 12:30 or so! I would've liked something like this in the Boogiepop OST, to be honest.

Oooh, I like the ending song! More Double Cast-esque sound. I could imagine it being covered by See-Saw back in the day :shy:

All in all, it's reasonably nice quality for a little 15-minute anime. I'd like an OST release someday :gimmeh: :XD:

^
OST for a 15-minute anime :ohoho: :ohoho: Then each songs will only have 20 seconds or something and the CD length most likely will only have a single-song length if they release it LOL

Although the music is really nice...and thanks to ninetales for pointing some songs that I don't pay attention to for the first time :XD:
