okay... so yeah Kaori's me favorite Kajiura vocalist :tea:

so I've decided to draw her

this is my second drawing of her and I decided to pattern it to a photo of her
Here's the original (image source: Facebook: Kaori Oda 織田かおり Mini Fans Group)
:nophoto:

here's my drawing:

close up:

and here's another one, free style drawing, only copied the costume from stone cold PV and the hair from the vol7
kaori1.jpg

the pattern in the kimono = really hard... twas the last part i drew

Im only armed with an HB pencil, 4B pencil, and an eraser :XD:

@george: idk when did she wore a kimono... this picture was probably taken from her blog

oh and here's another kaori in kimono... it's the original photo
(i decided not to draw another kimono with such complicated pattern with only the use of pencils)
again, image source is from: Facebook: Kaori Oda 織田かおり Mini Fans Group
KAORI in KIMONO

The details are not bad apart from trying to stay faithful to her jawline...

It makes her look more like Emma Watson instead. :psst:

how true :XD:
i tried emphasizing her jaw line but sadly it wasn't that good

Kaori is gorgeous in this pic. And I love your drawing too! Her kimono is really awesome, congratulations! Let's love her more and more <3

^ Kyaaa omg love it~ :shy: :shy: :shy:

Have you ever considered adding colour to your sketches, btw? :ayashii: (Although they're amazing the way they are anyway :dote: )

Thanks :tea:

@cerise: sadly, am still not that good with coloring... though i might someday after i've learned to ink my drawings... right now, am still refining the shadings and the use of different pencils

Man, good work, but I were to give you a tip, I'd say you should be more careful with body proportions. Her body is too small for the head, specially in the stone cold costume drawing. Don't know if you have already studied that kind of thing, but that's my advice. I like the Toki no Mukou one, her expression is good and you made her strong chin smoother than the first one in the kmono. Keep it up :goodjob:
