Plus, I have no one to teach me the basics of playing either. Oh? Maybe I should sit down and try some if I get the chance to, and hopefully it'll be before the PS6 comes out.

The most of the games (if not all) contain a bunch of training missions where you can learn everything you need to play them so there will no problem :)

I'd never played starcraft, but I played Warcraft... the custom map, though. Defence of the Ancients...

DotA is a custom map created by IceFrog (?) for WarCraft III.

It's not the skirmish one, though.

If you've played Tekken, how can you not know about Soul Calibur... they're made by the same company, they even share characters... I am baffled.

I don't have any console atm, but I'm an addicted (and shameless) rom collectioner (if Nintendo and others really cared to press the matter in this field AND spread it to CIS, I'd probably earn myself two or three life sentenses ). There are too many faves to name, nut at the present time period I'm seriously engaged in:
- Final Fantasy 7 (PS) - paused at Disk 2 since I didn't like the Russian translation I had got and have only managed to patch Disk 1 back to English so far)
Rune Factory 2, Phoenix Right, Trauma Center, Jump Ultimate Stars (all DS)
Fire Emblem 7 (GBA)
Tales of Phantasia (SNES) - this game is so awesome that I didn't have second thoughts about replaying it after my 50 hour save went night-night with all others (they are stored in Pocket PC inner memory, and a hard reset I was forced to do wiped them clean ).
F-Zero (SNES)
Harvest Moon (SNES)
and almost through with Mario Picross (GB)
I don't have many PC games installed, but I enjoy playing GTA SA, NFSU2, HoMM4 and Civilization 4 now and then (they are all my PC favourites, after all).

Wow I thought there was nobody who liked that SNES old RPG games

I have play ton of them they are great

Seiken detsetsu 3 (secret of mana 2) secret of mana (I was never able to pass the last boss), Secret of evermore, illusion of time, Terranigma, Tales of phantasia, Earthbound, Harvest moon, Chrono tigger, Lufia II ( I asn't able to pass a dungeon I think)

I have finished some other SNEs games as Mario land 3 and donkey cong country 1

Try those RPGs there are all great

omg a fellow retrogamer! why didn't I check the thead earlier

I hope to get down to Secret of Mana soon, unless my attention will be carried away be Star Ocean.
I keep away from Terranigma and Earthbound because I want to beat their prequels first. And I consider playing Chrono Trigger on DS because of movies and other improvements
