Happy new year everybody!

Wow, did they really draw those? They're pretty good! Was drawing part of their audition or something? Lol.

Wakana's Rainbow Unicorn-Pegasus is quite impressive. I also really like Hikaru's pic. It conveys the image of a horse pretty well using only a few lines.

I also very like Hikaru's drawing it's simple, elegant and beautiful, she really know how to draw - Hikaru cool painter :groucho: .

Wow, their drawing are awesome.

Hikaru with her traditional but amazing style, Wakana...well she did say that she wanted to become a mangaka, so I always knew her drawing must be really good. And even Keiko with her chibi-horse (Makibao, lol) is really good. I mean, to draw a chibi-version of something isn't easy, and she managed to do it. Extra kudos for Wakana's and Keiko's coloring technique - it's really smooth.

Agreed with Coral - was drawing a part of their audition? lol. :XD:

I think Keiko's horse is pretty cute too! Just personally, chibi's not my thing, so I don't feel like I can judge it.

A bit off-topic:
Speaking of Japanese singers with drawing ability... Have you guys seen Shoko Nakagawa's Attack on Titan art? It looks better than the actual manga, lol Granted, if there's one manga that can be improved by a singer, that could be the one...

Kaori really looks good with that hair. And the dress is nice as well.

They're from the FJC newsletter. I was the one who scanned and uploaded them to Tumblr along with this, this, this and this. :psst:

Hope it's okay for me to do this though. And sorry for the lousy scan quality. My scanner is a dinosaur. (^^);;;
 
I'm er...too busy (and lazy *is shot*) to do translations for those messages but if anyone else wants to have a go and would like full-sized scans of the interview sections in the FJC newsletters so you can read the characters clearly, do drop me a message. I may end up sending several copies of the same image files though because my scanner has been throwing fits lately (Not sure why there are blur segments in the image sometimes even though I didn't move the scanned document at all. Probably something wrong with the parser. :blood: ).
 
You're welcome! Yuriko's scans are not mine though. Just the ones from the FJC newsletter which I pointed out above. :V:
