Pandora Hearts OST

Time to revive this thread as the pre-2008 one points out that PH was the last anime Kajiura involved that was not with Sony.
Also the last anime she worked on with FJ ;-;

Maybe if Pandora Hearts somehow gets another season (which it should cause the story's no where near finished) she'll come back to do the OST and put FJ on the OP/ED? At this point it's probably just wishful thinking, though :rain:

^ Eh no, unless you mean for the soundtrack. They did do more songs after Parallel Hearts :)

The RHH soundtracks are technically with FJ too since she uses Kaori in there.

Yes there was some interview with the Pandora Hearts mangaka who was amazed by her music for the anime to the point that he was using as reference on how to progress the story. They did say in the interview that if there's season two he will ask Kajiura for the music again. I guess the sales arent going well, same issue as with Tsubasa.

What I meant by that was FJ doing a theme song for an anime that Kajiura did the OST for.

EDIT: Read the interview, and it was very interesting! I think it's awesome how Mochizuki listened to the OST in order to be inspired for how he should continue the story. You could say that the story inspired the music for Pandora Hearts, which in turn inspired the story, it's a cycle :XD:!

mochizuki also finished the series in 2015, so I wonder if a second season wouldn't be met with as much enthusiasm if the manga was still ongoing?

Sorry! :imdead:

My thoughts on this is that PH fans (such as myself, look at my profile pic :XD:) would be more excited for it, but there wouldn't be as much hype within the general masses. However, isn't PH: Caucus Race still coming out? I know it is still being translated/published here in the US (I've gradually seen more volumes of it in bookstores), but idk about the originals.

If they do decide to do a 2nd season, it'll be interesting to see how true they stay with the manga and how the characters look in today's anime standards, and how much they would unfortunately have to cut out in order to fit into presumably 25 episodes (it's not popular enough to span a 3-season show).

Have u guy heard about Vanitas no carte? It is her new manga. I think it has a great potential to get anime in the future. And for my wishful thinking. If VnC get popular. Maybe PH will eventually get another one too?

Just read the first chapter, and it seems interesting. It would be cool to see this as an anime, it's promising.

The anime had an original ending so they would have to restart it, maybe a different studio.
They could begin after episode 22 of the anime series (23 is where it splits), similar to how Black Butler diverges at episode 15, with Book of Circus taking place after that episode despite being its own series.

lol no i dont, i wanted gil x Oz 's sister, and Oz x Alice but alice is way too tsundere and destroys all the atmospheres when that is created, Oz's sister (when she grows up of course) too pretty to be side character.
