Where are based by the way?
And I love your covers

more please
Currently located in Germany. Unfortunately far away from JP. :o - But one day within the next two or three years I'd like to pay Japan a visit, Prefferably in autumn or winter. I'd like to see the autumn leaves in Nagano, and also enjoy ramen in Fukuoka!! :D
Hihi ^^' - Thank you a lot! - I hope to improve enough to produce better piano covers. - And maybe, one day, perhaps even create own pieces based on experience with the lovely Kajiura songs.
Going through the videos on the YT channel, it's clear there were atleast three big upgrades over time. (better not watch the older videos hihi ^^''')
At first I focussed on the ability to fastly (and correctly) grab the right chords, later I found out about dynamics, and after this to play the right hand, and use the left one to accompany.
Thank you. I actually never had any piano lessons. Just self taught

I grew up listening to Yuki Kajiura’s music and playing the piano and writing music just came in to me naturally.
Same here. : ) - But in my focus on certain pieces, like Ms. Kajiura's "Dream Scape", that I like so much, I found and imported a note sheet arranged by Ms. Aoshima, that I wanted to try out.
"How hard can it be?!" - Well, like in UK's Top Gear, the answer also is "pretty hard, actually..".
This is why I am now (0,5 years already) having a piano teacher in order to be able to READ and interprete the note sheets.
I used to listen to the great video game adaptations arranged by Kara Comparetto like this one: [
Mega Man 3 - Top Man ]. Always thought she's got so much fun and expression... then one day I found [
this ]... and applied immediately! ^^'
You can imagine that I was UBERLY happy when she answered and even accepted me as piano student.

Since then we are practising, and I have made good progress. This is also great, because you can ask any piano related question, and she will be able to recommend a path on how to achieve this best. In my case, I need to learn sheet music and site read reading first.. in order to be able to use all these fancy Kajiura-related note sheets around. These also contain the right timing and of course the notes for both hands. This is SO helpful.
We were analysing two Kajiura note sheets together... this was an eye opener. - Then she said.. "well.. when we have finished this course, you're able to do this yourself and play all of them!"
You can imagine, this has high priority for me.. and also I do not want to disappoint Ms. Komparetto either, so I am constantly working on progress.
Of course my girl friend can't understand any of this. But we all need to have some hobbies, and THIS one is magical. Even if nobody would want to listen to this music, I would still enjoy listening to and playing it. - Ms Kajiura's music is truely magical, and she's got ultra skills in putting emotions into melodies. Her pieces are VERY interesting when you analyse them.. but this is for the future. Current task is to learn and practise music sheets. : ]
I'd like to
thank you for your time, and also a lot of your interest in my piano covers.
I'm working on daily progress, and hope to have new covers soon.

If I may, I'd like to ask you to please also post your piano works here frequently. ^^
