Yeah.Haruhi Suzumiya isn't a classic.you can google when it was born

...I just remembered one. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuu'utsu. Asakura and Nagato were my favourites.

they're both still with us, in onion shape:
:glasses:
:knife:

Mine... When I was a child, I used to listen to a lot of Russian/Belarusian pop that I stopped caring about later. Even though my father has always been an avid rock fan, I took no interest in Western singers when little, except maybe Elton John who I discovered in one pack with The Lion King around 1995, thus making him the only one from my childhood fandoms that I keep sticking to today. Well, later there was also Modern Talking, who have since come a bit down in my ranks, although still hanging around "Level 1". :XD:
My next big (and also surviving) craze was Genesis. These guys gave me the desire to try and write songtexts leaning more on diversed themes and narration (before that, I had had Modern Talking to look up to, so my earliest works ended up having up to a dozen repetitions of "love" and "baby" in them :...: :desksweat: :XD: ). Too bad neither band releases new albums today... :leaf:

On TV, I used to watch Wonderbeat (probably the first anime I've ever seen), Hana no Ko LunLun (LOL, I've googled it up and only now found out it is classified as mahou shoujo :plot: ) and live action series called Due South.

Kickers, Dragon Ball, Doraemon, Toriton, Voltron, Mask Man, Night Rider, Airwolf, Spice Girls, Boyzone, The Cranberries, The Corrs, Backstreet Boys, N'SYNC, 911, etc...

Some still with us today.. haha!
