Me too, I really love Yuki's orchestral touch, especially the ones with no vocals, but I also enjoy the arrangement of her vocal songs.I'm looking forward for her to perform with an orchestra someday.
wat11 said:I mostly like her orchestral works. Some of the vocal tracks are not my cup of tea but some are simply beautiful. I have known her for quite sometime now, it must be since 2005. Perhaps the very first track I've heard would be communication breakdown which is absolutely gorgeous. I pratically abused that song for a year and it remains one of my favorites. And many more tracks followed after that.![]()
I don't know much about music in theory but perhaps as a casual critic I could say that she has to maintain a certain level of consistency. Some tracks in the OSTs are so beautiful but some are failing miserably. I would also want to see her using more classical/world/opera style than pop. pop is fine but too much can be annoying :)
She is a great composer and pretty much at the top of the musicians of our time! her music is quite emotional, touching and epic. I wish for the best for her..![]()
