Does anyone have this soundtrack? I'd love to listen to some musical Yuki tracks.
 
I’ve never heard of this before. I saw the title and thought kajiura signed up for a new ost. This is a musical she wrote?
 
Oh ouch. The review on Amazon says something similar to "I bought it because I'm a YK fan but I'm disappointed. It's an opera company, but I'll say it clearly, the characters' voice isn't good. It's not some school play with free entrance, they're all pros, they really put that thing up on stage and charged for it, right? Meh, it's wrong to expect something at the level of Kalafina or FJ anyway"

In any case, if someone buys this, please let me know (and ideally onion it?), otherwise I'm tempted to import it.

BTW @Kugayama in the Discography entry for this one, on track 18, please replace "2nin" with "futari" :bow:
 
It's really not worth going out of your way to get. I have it but I don't remember from where/who so I don't want to re-upload to not offend anyone, lol.
 
You can find a couple of vids on YouTube. Echoing those reviews, the singing is rough, and the production is kind cheesy.

Ordered it from Amazon two weeks ago because the announcement of a new Sakura Taisen reminded me that this CD was once something I really wished to add to my Yuki collections. Was also secretly hoping that this little (maybe-unworthy-and-insignificant) sacrifice could spin the wheel of destiny and Yuki would get involved with music production related to the new game. My parcel should arrive before June, hopefully mid-May. Will do some ripping and booklet-scanning for Onioning here if no one does these before me. :bow:

Slightly related, does anyone have the Sakura Wars Movie soundtrack? I can't find it anywhere.
 
wow, did not know she worked on this! I liked the show, but the movie was kind of meh. I like the ending theme Yume Mite Iyou, i know it's not Yuki, but still. lol It makes me smile. The Princess Principle song she did for the Japanese girl reminded me a bit of it actually.

You're right--'Moonlight Melody' from the Prin-Prin OST reminds me of something you might hear Sakura Wars' Flower Division do-- if Kajiura-sensei's contribution to the SW musical is even remotely like that, it'd be worth hearing...but I've not, and while I'd be reluctant to base what something sounds like based on one review, the anecdotal bits I'm hearing from all of you who have tells me not to get Too excited...still would like to hear for myself sometime!
 
Thorn: I meant the one the Japanese girl sings. About her parents. But it is kind of like Moonlight as well.
