Madoka - Noi!! [complete]

philadelphin

TETOTETOMETOME
Lyrics:

Wo ist eine lange Nadel?
Wo ist eine kurze Nadel?
Auf Wiedersehen Bestrafungshügel
Das Fenster genau geschlossen?
Der Schlüssel genau befestigt?
"Noi" Zuerst gebe ich Zwei
"Noi" Diese Zwei sind statt deinen Tränen
Yai yai fallen
Yai yai yai springen
Mit den letzten zwei Versprechen
Yai yai fallen
Yai yai yai springen
Yai yai fallen
Yai yai yai springen
Yaaaa.....

Exact translation:
Where is a long needle?
Where is a short needle?
Goodbye, hill of punishment
Is the window precisely closed?
Is the key precisely attached?
"Noi" First I give you (these) two
"Noi" These two are instead of your tears
Yai yai falling
yai yai yai jumping
With the last two promises
Yai yai falling
yai yai yai jumping
Yai yai falling
yai yai yai jumping
Yaaaaaa~

OLD:
[…] = not sure parts

German lyrics:

Wo ist eine lange Nadel?
Wo ist eine kurze Nadel?

Auf Wiedersehen, [niemand zu Haus]

Das Fenster genau geschlossen
Der Schlüssel genau befestigt

Nein zuerst werden […] ist wahr
Nein diese zwei Seelen stark treiben vor [sich/mich] hin? (WTF? xD)

(I think they are singing Nein [naɪ̯n], but since the title is Noi, maybe it's noi...but I'm lazy to change it xD)
Nein, nein fallen?
Nein, nein, nein springen?

[….]

Nein, nein fallen?
Nein, nein, nein springen?
Nein, nein, nein fallen?
Nein, nein, nein springen?
Noi

English translation:

Where is a long needle?
Where is a short needle?

Goodbye, [nobody's home]

The window precicely closed.
The key precicely attached.

[can't translate since the sentence is not complete here]
No, these two souls floating/drifting around [me] (not sure here because sich = itself, mich = me)

No, no falling?
no, no, no jumping?

[...]

No, no falling?
no, no, no jumping?
No, no, no falling?
no, no, no jumping?
no~

Feeeel free to help me, just write down what you hear > like Kajiurago. Maybe I can get some idea what the Lyrics are xD
And like Wo ist die kase?, it's not official and it's what I hear xD

wow great :) Now we just have to wait for June for the official lyrics of it. Thank you very much!!! Do you plan to do witch world#2 too ?

[…] = not sure parts

German lyrics:

(I think they are singing Nein [naɪ̯n], but since the title is Noi, maybe it's noi...but I'm lazy to change it xD)

Ι hear sometihng like "Nia" (as in Nya - the mewing sound in japanese)
does noi means anything in german ? Because in french I think its a way for cooking meat XD

Is it ok if I upload this and wo ist die kase in the site with a note that they're not official ?

"noi" means "we" in Italian... :confu: and it means nothing in german, but it would be pronounced like "neu" which means "new"... :confu: I have no idea :XD:

EDIT: my German friend suggested "noi" might be a dialect for "nein"...

Yeah I thought of that too, it can be a a dialect, but I don't know any xD and nothing in German is "nichts".
Well I just thing that it's a mistake. I mean noi isn't a official German word xD

@ george:
yes you can xD but don't kill me if they are wrong xD
and yeah I hear nyai nyai too. Like I said I tried to make it more German-ish xDD
And for the witch world #2, I don't think so. You said that there will be an official one in june. So I think I pass, because the opera+german is....I can't hear anything xDDDD

I found lyrics on a youtube video, is it more correct or not ?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdXTqxTWxcM

Wo ist eine lange Nadel?

Wo ist eine kurze Nadel?

Auf Widersehen des noch sind da.

Na, Schwester, genau geschlossen,

geschlossen gerade heute sich.

Noi! zu erste Nahe ist zwar,

Noi! nie sieht zweitens statt eine Ferne.

Noi! Noi! fahre! Noi! Noi! Noi! springe!

nicht voraus mal entsprechen!

Noi! Noi! fahre! Noi! Nein! Noi! springe!

Noi! Noi! fahre! Noi! Nein! Noi! springe! Nah.

Well I'm not sure...the German words are correct, but it doesn't make any sense for me. And I'm sure Kajiura-sama can make German lyrics with a meaning xD

and I definitely hear "Fenster" and not "Schwester" and also "Schlüssel" and not "geschlossen"
With "fahre" I'm not sure, since the japanese-German is not really clear. I just assumed it's "fallen" or "falle!" because of the jumping (springen/springe!). It makes more sense with jumping/falling (springen/fallen) than jumping/driving (springen/fahren)

some one from CPM running this page?

@aki: Yes, scans say on "Soundtrack staff" : "all songs written by Yuki Kajiura"
and it probably means the lyrics since in the "Musicians" it says the usual "All arrangement & Programming: Yuki Kajiura"

(So she still remembers some german :plot: )

Japanese translation, I guess?

(タンバリンの音)
シャン シャララ
「ノィ」 ながい針どこだ?
シャン シャララ
「ノィ」 みじか針どこだ?
また会うときは 刑の丘
窓はきちんと閉じたかい? シャン
鍵は回して諦めたかい? シャン
「ノィ」 まず2本は くれてやる
「ノィ」 この2本が 涙の代わりに
ヤィ ヤィ おとせ
ヤィ ヤィ はねる
さいごの2本で 約束を
「ヤーー!」

(sound of tambourine)
shan sharara
"noi" where is a long needle?
shan sharara
"noi" where is a short needle?
the time when we meet again hill of punishment (?)
did you properly close the window? shan
did you turn the key and give up? shan
"noi" first I'm giving you two needles
"noi" these two are instead of tears
yai yai falling
yai yai jumping
with the last two a promise
"yaaa!"

So "noi" seems to be just kajiurago.

EDIT: [counter for long objects]??? The song was about needles. What the heck was I thinking? :XD:
EDIT 2: "and give up" seems to be some kind of expression, like "turned the key and then that was all there was to do" or something - judging also from the German text

In this sense, and after straining my ears a bit:
Wo ist eine lange Nadel?
Wo ist eine kurze Nadel?
Aufs[?] Wiedersehen [in den] Strafenshügel [or just Bestrafungshügel?]
Das Fenster [hat] genau geschlossen?
Der Schlüssel [hat] genau befestigt?
"Noi" Zuerst gebe dir ich zwei (I know it's wrong, but that's what I hear, maybe she swapped the words as a mistake)
"Noi" Diese zwei sind statt deinen Tränen
Yai yai fallen
Yai yai yai springen
Mit den letzten zwei, Versprechen
Yai yai fallen
Yai yai yai springen
Yaaaa.....

EDIT: @philadelphin does that sound OK to you? I cross-checked it with a native German speaker, he seems to be hearing the same as I do (yatta!)
EDIT2: Possible corrections in brackets

I just asked a friend from Japan, he said the kanji in 諦めた is wrong - the correct one should have been 閉めた instead, which actually makes everything much clear - "did you turn the key and lock it up?"
But in any case, accurately translating the Japanese text here doesn't make much sense, we're essentially translating from German to Japanese and then to English. The translation of the actual German text has to be done separately.
