Panda: It's not your fault. Thing is, whether in person or in writing, sometimes it does get difficult to tell when someone's being sarcastic or not. Dry humor can be just that, and usually it's easier (one hopes) to get those signals in person than in writing. However, sometimes you really can tell when someone's being grumpy around here. :ohoho:

I agree that people who have difficulty differentiating sarcasm should try not take things seriously. Conversely, people who are way too sarcastic for some to get it, well, take it easy, too. That "I don't care" attitude doesn't really help foster a positive environment around here.

In short, I agree, spread the love, y'all! :innocent: :cheer: And thank you Kerahna for the hard work you do! :idol: :chuu:

Well, the only reason I am troubled is because I have the tendency to laugh a lot. Even at things that aren't funny. People who know me IRL think I'm crazy or something. o__o Ask Lunaria77 if you don't believe me. So, I should be laughing like crazy with what's going on here. But I can't...

@ silverywhite: What's even worse is that they might even think they're right. :uh..:

Oh, and guys... Stop acting as if you're too good to take the rest of us seriously. You're not.

Well..she is..and she is also a very polite and good person..she isn't even a tiny bit as mean as me :P

So,i can't help it but agree with her last sentence.

I must say not everyone sees internet the same way as someone else. I go to internet to gather information basically and chat with friends. I don't like it if someone i don't know is rude to me or he's trying to (as Kera said) ''jokingly'' insult me.Being polite isn't so hard.
Still,some people continue their way,being like that,even though they might offend someone in some way,ignoring others' feelings. And i don't see how is that any fun.I have fun doing jokes and going out with friends not by using sarcasm(the way some people do in here at least,otherwise i am pretty sarcastic,with the real meaning) and offending people in internet.
I like this forum even though i am not here for too long and i want to continue to like it.

There's nothing wrong with being funny/laughing or being serious. (Heh, I'm more silly than not, and selectively serious - mostly when I am engaging on what I hope to be an "objective" discussion).

Yeah, we should all have fun here! I guess some people don't care too much for silliness, and therefore do not take us silly people seriously. LOL But you're right, a lot of times we are here for information, but it's nice to goof around and get to know fellow fans, too.
