I have reached Yuki nirvana
Kara no Kyoukai's Epilogue "Kara no Kyoukai" (30 mins) will finally be released on February 2, as a stand-alone DVD and as part of the Kara no Kyoukai Blu-ray BOX (english subs included).

No bonus discs this time, so not sure if there's any new music to be expected, but yea... HURRAY FOR KNK BD!

guess the price is kind of logical considering the price the KnK DVDs had and that Blue Ray discs are expensive...

@grunty:Is it possible that they have in the Blue Ray for the Epilogue (since as far as I remember the epilogue is no longer than 25 minutes (?)) some new music too as bonus feature (since there will be left free space into the blue ray) ? [ I mean that instead of giving a CD they could include the epilogue's ost into the epilogue's blue ray]
 
What will the epilogue be about? Shiki's daughter or other stuff? I remember reading something on the subject in Wikipedia...
Btw, does anyone know how KnK movies actually performed on-screen? Were they successful? Usually to harvest big yen, a full-length has to feature the word "Ghibli" in titles at least...
 
Oh my, I have been wanting for this epilogue since I finished the seventh movie :sohappy: :shy: :nosebleed: I wonder what it will be about? There's Mana (Shiki and Mikiya's daughter) but will it be only about her? I hope I have more good fanservice like the seventh movie, I just love ShikiMikiya :nosebleed:
 
At last, 1 year, epilogue! But february?! really??
It'll feature recycled music, so there's no CD. Obvious.

Actually, Mana will not appear in this at all (assuming this is really only the "Kara no Kyoukai" chapter that they are adapting and not a combination of "Kara no Kyoukai" and "recalled out summer").
 
good think there is no extra OST CD .. it would kill my wallet <_<

What exactly is the Kara no Kyoukai chapter? I couldn't read it since fans gave up translating the novels after Del Rey bought the rights to publish the novels. The only thing I could find was some kind of summary of it, and it seemed to be very small for 30 minutes. Also, I didn't really understand the summary very well, it seemed a bit too bittersweet to be made into a sequel of the last movie.
