Man, I hate those videos from the official site, they take days to load...
But yeah, I'm with you there, who is the first vocalist? Could it be Wakana, even though it doesn't seem like her?
 
Wow, I have no idea who that is...I don't think it's Wakana, unless she's singing very differently. But Kajiura-sensei always has Wakana sing in her usual fashion, and plus the nuances of this person's voice don't match Wakana's, at least not for me. I'm thinking that it's either Hanae or Maya.

I could ask Kajiura-sensei on Twitter, if you want... :V:

And I think Fion sounds lovely in the second part. Kajiura-sensei should honestly sing more!
 
^It would be nice if they performed this version with Kajiura in the seventh upcoming live.
 
^ Yeah, hopefully. I thought it was wonderful when Kajiura-sensei sang in Synchronicity and the FJ YUUKA songs...maybe they'll do it again :dote:
 
First time I listened, first person I saw in my mind: Maaya Sakamoto, lol.
I'm sure, is no Wakana. Can be Hanae. Also Maya to test her voice, but Maya's voice is close to Hikaru.
In the final version Yuki applied a filter which changed the original recording a lot, and Yuriko replaced Fion.

can't wait to hear the live version; if we'll be able to hear it.
 
^ I don't know if I agree on Maya sounding like Hikaru...Maya's voice doesn't have any of Hikaru's slightly nasal sound. When she sang the penultimate chorus in Aria, to me she sounded like a more powerful version of Wakana's voice. I guess it depends on the listener.

I'm going to ask Kajiura-sensei and see what she says, I think. Maybe she'll clear things up for us :plot:

Maya's voice is very close to Hikaru's in sprinter, imo. In ARIA her voice is completely different. Aw... Maya... ;_;

Completely off-topic, I know, but I hope Maya gets a good singing career someday. I think her voice is gorgeous. :cheer:

I, too, had to listen VERY closely before I caught up. But you know how I am with identifying vocals. :rain: :XD:
IMHO Maya's voice (the amount of it I heard, at least) is somewhat closer to Kaori's. don't tell me Yuki realized she had just gathered the second FictionJunction... /runs away :white: :desksweat: :XD:

LOOL Maybe but Hikaru's voice isnt close to anyone's from FJ so it would still be different. From what i have heard maya's voice in ARIA is a combination of Yuriko and Keiko (like a deeper Yuriko), in Kizuato its close to Yuriko's again (in chorus mode) and in srpinter ... dunno :XD: I still cant tell her apart there :spotlight:
 
Kajiura-sensei hasn't answered yet...I think she's too busy to answer people. :rain:

I personally think it's Maya. :shy:

Offtopic: After seeing the trailer, I'm definitely glad that I didn't want to watch the KnK movies...I think I'd either be crying or nauseous by the end of the first one, if they're all as bloody and tragic as the trailer is... :cry:

i too hope she has a wonderful singing career. i want her so badly to return to kalafina, but i shouldn't hope for it.

about the track... no matter how much i would LOVE it to be maya's, i don't think it is. maya's voice doesn't have that misty sound, it's not as thick as keiko's but it's still very strong.

@ninetales: i agree!!! i love the knk music but i have no plans to watch it.

BTW, i know this might be a difficult request because the audio's not on an easy to rip site like youtube. but can someone make mp3 versions of those tracks? they would be wonderful to listen to :plz:
 
i didn't recognize maya's voice b4,esp when it's blendid with the others.i wonder what is maya doing now
