Just listened to and read through the lyrics (and translation) of both tsubasa and Yume no Tsubasa. I never really paid attention to the lyrics before, but now I realized that tsubasa is from Syaoran's POV, while Yume no Tsubasa is from Sakura's POV. Personally, I prefer tsubasa since it was what made me curious about Yuki Kajiura and her FictionJunction project. Moreover, it was Kaori's first involvement with her over 20 years ago. I hope they perform tsubasa more in lives.

Also, in the lighthouse lyrics, Kaori's parts and harmonies now make more sense, since she represents the "echo" and "nostalgic voice" persona the song is calling out to. This is especially true with the bridge "ただ静かに名前を呼んで貴方の声で".

Not sure about "tsubasa" but you might be right. "Yume no Tubasa" was always Sakura's character song so I guess that tracks (though there's also the duet version so guess it's all flexible...).
