Wait, soap opera classics? That means we'll get a lot more sentimental storytelling music from Kaori! I am really curious to hear her expression of the lyrics and music with her newer (and much deeper than prior) perspective as a wife and mother.

I was delighted with the way she expressed this song and rated it highly. I also feel there would be much less pitch issues just because it's a slower more methodical song, and she can reach for those expressive highs with her voice without trying to do it against a fast-paced tempo.

Kaori's head voice/falsetto is beautiful and I wish she would play around with it more, and incorporate it in her singing style to give more variety to her performances, when the song requires it.

That part of her voice is one thing that made me really appreciate "Miezaru Ude", because the start of that song was switching between chest and falsetto a lot.
