Good news arriving, people: it seems that Calling, Brilliant World and Honki no Uso will also be included in Place, according to Kaori's blog and her page on Team Entertainment. A bit of mixed feelings about this: they could have gone all the way and included the b-sides for those as well, but it seems they're saving space for the new material...or maybe they're just saving the licensing money Anyway, now I'm seriously considering buying this album

mixed feelings too.
Brilliant World and Honki no Uso are upbeat unlike most of the confirmed songs... but they're a bit repetitive.

I like "wish on" and "taga tameni" more.

Taga Tameni had similarities with the melody of Honki no uso but gradually it changes until the end. It's Very similar to Flowers in Paradise in terms of the singing, I think.

that's already a total of 9 songs... mmm. how many new "new" songs exactly?

only one Kajiura song? I wish she's compose a new "new" song.

for YUUKA's case, she only had Ozawa for the whole album. While this album has of different producers. Cross Fingers.

Yeah, this album might come out a bit of a mess because of that XD

Particularly, I'm not so excited about this album because first albums tend to be quite "generic", so to speak. It takes some time for an artist to develop a style of his/her own, to find the right producers/composers/musicians, etc. I'm really tempted to buy this because of Calling, Honki no Uso and Hajimari no Kioku because I really love those, but so far I'm not so fond of the other known songs and neither I'm expecting something really great out of the new ones. As for the not included b-sides, the only one I really wish was included is Taga Tame ni. I find Wish On way too slow and boring and I kinda like Power in Me, but I don't feel the need for it - plus, a hip-hop-ish song like that is all that is needed to transform this album in a real mess


I hope the new songs are good and that the album as a whole can keep a balanced sound. And, since Calling will stand out so much from the rest, I wish they put it as the last track in the album.

I guess we can expect an album with 12-14 songs, so we should have at least three new ones - but, since three is a really low number, I think they should make an album with 14, at least. Let's wait and see. About Kajiura, I think that having her composing another song would only contirbute to the aforementioned mess xD I think that it's better that Kajiura stays out and we see them only on FJ. Plus, Kajiura doesn't really have time nowadays, I think.

That's not new though.
If I can remember correctly, YUUKA's singles and/or album were also promoted there.

Even YURIKO's "KAiiDA" albums and the latest "My Hometown" song

Also KAORI's involvement with Ouzoku Band was announced in FJC (plus a tweet from Kajiura)

Also during live events, FJC are giving out fliers to promote the solo projects... an example would be YUUKA's 1st album.

I think it's because of their tagline 梶浦由記+YUUKA・KAORI・WAKANA・KEIKO・YURIKO KAIDA・HIKARU+many more

hahaha I see. I remember Kaori Hikita's "natural" album where only 4/9 (and I really mean FOUR) stand out (for me at least); especially her version of "Tsuki no Curse"

I think it will be better without Kajiura's involvement at the moment. Being an FJC member will still provide her a consistent growth, she has the quality to expand her horizon more this way and I like to listen to more of her Rock Songs instead of her ballads which she excels.
