The goods are so underwhelming. I own all those singles and BDs so there's hardly anything for me to buy aside from the pamphlets.

The road to winning an autograph on both days (HA!) is a long and perilous one.
C'mon, I don't it's that hard to make me part with my money. I'm flying across the South China Sea for this.

And what's with all the consolation goods. And the After Eden pamphlet?! Are they trying to clear old stock? Did they not release anything new for the Kimi no Gin no Niwa lives? Disappointing, really...
 
^I think they'll keep the Kimi no Gin goods for Japanese first. Kimi no Gin live is on June, right? Just be patient lol.
 
Kalafina arrived in Hong Kong on flight CX543 at 1.40pm HKT today. Which is a little over an hour ago.

Expect lots of photos since the organizers announced the flight they were on to the fans, thereby assuring that there will be a welcome party. I'd go myself but I'm not in Hong Kong yet. T_T

My first full kalafina live.

So tired. So high. The autographs on the mini posters are so beautiful. XD
I was sorta shock stunned during the autograph session this time though so I didn't say much.

Anyway. Concert.
The stage was a lot closer than I expected it would be. It's probably the closest I've seen them.

They were cute during the mc. As usual. And keiko seemed especially playful on stage. Though this seems to be the norm nowadays.

Why. The fangirl in me nearly died of a heart attack when keiko and Hikaru were singing back to back, Hikaru facing the right, keiko facing the left whilst standing in the middle of the stage. They were both holding the mics with the hand that was away from the stage. Their hand that was facing the stage were by their sides, sorta touching. Keiko, being the harem Queen that she is, then intertwined her fingers slightly with Hikaru. All the while, wakana is standing on the slightly elevated stairs behind them, the lighting only adding to the perfection. It was a sight to behold. Bevan tells me that it was during destination unknown. I don't know. I remember enjoying the song but everything sorta flew out the window when I saw that. XD

Oh. And they performed Tsuioku live for the first time today. No heavenly blue. Not allowed to perform it yet I guess.

MC1 - the usual introduction. The crowd was shouting kawaii! After Hikaru introduced herself. Hikaru goes all iya iya iya and waves her hand, a little embarrassed.

MC2 - here, they took a show of hands to see how much how the crowd were first timers, how many have been to their lives before already. Hikaru also took the opportunity to see how much of the crowd was from Hong Kong. The majority was from Hk, to which Hikaru was sorta shocked. She knows it's Hk but she just didn't expect so many hongkongers.

I died and went to heaven when wakana sang. Particularly during the last part. It reminds me why I fell in love with her voice first.

MC3 - they talk about how they spent their only free day, the 29th of may. Wakana went for a massage with keiko.
Wakana recounts what happened:
So we went for a massage, and keiko was saying, "about the mc tomorro- OUCH!"
And it really was so painful. When I went "please stop!", the masseuse simply smiled, continued and asked "does it hurt? Does it hurt?" "yes it does!"
Hikaru went somewhere to shop. It was somewhere she went back in 2010 as well. (apologies, I'm not familiar with Hk locations so I couldn't catch where she went). Hikaru also had some mango dessert..
"It's.. Like jelly."
Hikaru struggles with how to describe it.
"N-No. Not jelly.. "
Struggles some more.
" Jell..."
"Gel like? "
She also had some famous tapioca dessert (?). The portion was huge. she shows us how much. Wakana remarks that it's like two times the size of keiko's head. Hikaru says it was impossible to finish on her own. It was more for two people, like that couple that came together.
K: I'm sorry we couldn't go with you
H (sounding like she was taking the opportunity to guilt trip keiko): Hikaru wanted to have it with the two of you!
K: Sorry!
H: And Hikaru wanted to go for the massage with the two of you as well!
K&W: Sorry!!!
They then asked for recommendations for new places to go to, new desserts. The crowd gave no response at all this time, strangely. I couldn't either as I was not familiar with Hk. Kalafina professionally moved the mc on with some jokes. Are they shy? Or they think we should have that mango dessert. Hope the crowd tomorrow is more responsive.

Keiko then teases the crowd saying the next song was, in a way, a new song. The crowd, not completely fluent in Japanese, probably did not catch the "in a way" part and started cheering at the mention of a new song. It's a song that has never been performed live anywhere else. Crowd starts cheering even more. Keiko catches on, panics and says that it's not a new song. "no heavenly blue". Aw. Dang it.

I loved keiko and wakana at the start. I really can't wait to get live footage/version of this song.

Damn that was fun. Fbm solos were split between signal and Ongaku iirc.
There was a random hug between keiko and Hikaru during signal (not sure). I think it's because the crowd was shouting at weird timings that were off from that of the girls and they were having a laugh. The crowd cheered when they saw them.

MC4 - Fbm introduction. No mention of HITOSHI.

18. Kimi no gin no niwa
It's a shame that there was no live violin

EC1. Misterioso

MC5 - lots of the crowd showering them with love. Applause that would only get louder over time. Lots of kalafina showering the crowd with love.

EC2. Alleluia
Well, with that mc and then that last song, there was no way my tear ducts could've held.

They took a photo with the crowd and finally held the autograph session for the winners of the draw, which went by real quick, what with me stunned throughout.

That's day 1.
Day 2 tomorrow. Or.. Today, now.
I expect the exact same set list since the organiser told the crowd not to spoil it.

I thought they all did well this time. Wakana was on form. Keiko was great from the beginning. I was worried about Hikaru but she did okay. I did think that they set the volume too loud though. It was deafening at times. My ears were howling. I seriously need to invest in a good pair of ear plugs.

the song list now can post out :confu:i hear my all Hk friends they say because the production said that " not say the list to everyone because tomorrow have kalafina live"
 
He did say something to that effect after a great big part of the crowd left the hall, if my horrendously bad Cantonese is right.

Well, I added a spoiler alert. And I would think only those expecting to see reports will be coming in here. This thread hasn't been particularly active...
