They just don't give a damn about most non-Japanese music markets. Anything farther away than China, Thailand and Singapore is a mere opportunity go for occasional extra cash from an anime convent. Even releasing Seventh Heaven overseas doesn't mean much above it as long as the promotion is limited to Anime Boston. If you do want an album to have a mark in the Billboard, then push it into radio rotations, hold events akin to what you do in Japan, get bigger stages and attack MTV/VH1 (although in Kalafina's case, the last point may not be safe 
). Advertize the band enough for at least a good number of people to start recognizing Kalafina's name and not think it refers to some restaurant special or fancy toothpaste. But there's a big problem of exposure, since the States and Europe aren't inhabited by anime fans alone. 
And Victor seems to be not much better in comparison - I've never heard of Fiction being promoted outside AnimeExpo, not to mention that the Western edition left out the album's best track.
And putting a personal embargo on SME might be a bad idea, since nowadays Yuki's involved in its projects much wider than with Flying Dog.

Apparently it is possible to view the channel using mobile devices like phone or ipad, and make comments on it! There are several comments on it already all asking for them to open up to foreigners : ) maybe if enough people post they will consider it?

) I doubt that Sony will "hear our prayer" and make the channel available worldwide. Although it means that they're stupid for not knowing that Kalafina has more fans worldwide than in Japan only.
