Destination and circus were FJY shile Everlasting Songs is FJ only so technically Kajura Yuki curse still applies :P

So, does this mean that progressive is the last Kalafina single and that the next album will be the last too ? :omgwtf: :ghost: :swt: :vortex: :spotlight: :rain:

No. Kalafina will break the curse and release a third album... I DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE IN THE CURSE :omgwtf:

But then again, Yuki said Kalafina was a project where vocalists were added for the recording, so I'm expecting Kalafina to be around for a while. It would be illogical to create another third project instead of working on FJ and Kalafina...

even if she creates a third project she should keep both Kalafina nd FJ active, and I hope that the third project will also contain one or more male vocalists apart from the female ones.

yeah....

hmmm...

I hope there will be a male Member of FJ or FJ solo :plot: :plot:

i doubt that Kalafina will get neglected after second album .. the group is just to popular. There has been just to much media coverage for Kajiura to forget about Kalafina. As much as Oricon ranking is corrupter and everything they managed to get in top 10 with each release so far (not even FJY managed to do that) and that's not something anybody can achieve. Well if nothing else i'm pretty sure that Sony will pressure Kajura to continue working on Kalafina as long as they are popular. That or the girls will get new composer and everything will be ruined (probably).

I don't even want to imagine that happening :blood:

seconded

Now I remembered that Kalafina did their N.A debut in just 6 months ago and it would be a pity if it desolves now (+ what Chibi said)... so I guess Yuki wont do it

I don't want to think about kalafina disbanded, discontinued or whatever :uh..: this is the concert thread anyway :ohoho:

Eh, I'm bored. So let's imagine this tour does get a DVD release. What would be your ideal setlist for the live/DVD?

Let's limit the options and say there won't be more than 14 tracks + 2 encore.

My picks are below, but first some explanations. I'm cautiously optimistic Kalafina will debut their next single as an encore on 09/12/27 LIVE Kalafina LIVE 2009 "progressive". Considering the tour is in February, I'm also cautiosly optimistic they will have the single and 2nd album (with Lacrimosa-storia-progressive) release date around the corner. So, my picks: :D

progressive (not that I want it, but I'm sure they will do it, lol)
oblivious
(MC)
Ashita no keshiki
storia
new single track (slower track)
Lacrimosa
(MC)
Gloria
interlude01
ARIA
new album track (mid/hi tempo ^^)
(MC)
new single track (uptempo track)
Ongaku
Mata kaze ga tsuyokunatta
(MC)
sprinter

Encore:
Utsukushisa
(MC)
new album track

hm, since its a tour concert, each concert will probably get 23-24 songs like the YK vol 2 did http://canta-per-me.net/live-events/2008-yk2/ and it wont have Opening Act so :) , so there is enough space to perform all of the so far released ones except the Re /oblivious songs maybe lol, although Yuki will probably not put some in, in order to fit in some new tracks from the future single / album

I will post my desired tracklists tomorrow because I'm sleepy :waa: :XD:

I believe that too!

This are my picks:

Love come down
Ongaku
Mata kaze ga tsuyokunatta
ARIA
Progressive
Ashita no keshiki
Lacrimosa
Lirica
Storia
Gloria
Sprinter
Utsukushisa

Encore
2 new songs :nosebleed:

my wish setlist:

oblivious
Kimi ga Hikari ni Kaete Iku
progressive
MC (about progressive, and Vocalists introduction)
Kizuato
Sprinter
Lacrimosa
MC (band members intro)
Aria
Gloria
fairytale
serenato

love come down
Mata Kaze ga Tsuyoku Natta
Ongaku
MC (about these 3 ^)
Ashita no Keshiki
Natsu no Ringo
storia
MC
lirica
Utsukushisa

- Encore-
(new single's song)
(new album's song)
seventh heaven

I put all the so far released song except the ones from re / oblivious. all the songs are 21 in total in the above setlist.

Well, I personally doubt they are going to do over 20 songs... but wouldn't mind if it were true... Then again, they could get tired with this many by the time they get to the end... so no... I hope they don't do that many. :P

Maybe if Yuki puts alot of MCs (around 5) they will have time to regain they powers and relax, and they wont have problem (remember that in YK vol2 Wakana and Keiko performed songs in both the OP Act and the main performance, yet they werent tired.) :)

I doubt Kajiura has anything to do with those Kalafina lives and their setlists other than maybe accepting the band members...

And TBH, I think most of the Live #2 tracks were not as demanding as Kalafina for Keiko and Wakana. Even then, let's take Himeboshi/Mezame which are the bigger tracks for Keiko and Wakana in Live2 - Kaori solo before and Eri solo+MC after.

Also, I'm pretty sure Wakana is tired on that Ongaku bridge. (Not "emotional".)

Hm I dont know about the other Kalafina live performaces, but Yuki probably decided the Anime Boston Kalafina setlist and will for the tour ones since they are big concerts, and they should at least ask her opinion.

About Wakana getting tired I also remeber it, but even if this case they can relax her by putting together some songs she doesnt participate much (like Aria, and love come down, Mata Kaze ga Tsuyoku Natta and Ongaku together + long MC )(but this way maybe Keiko and Hikaru become tired instead lol )

also this live http://canta-per-me.net/live-events/2009-storia did had long setlist so 2 more songs wont hurt XD
