thats not bad at all, but sadly proves that show popularity is more important than song quality for good sales, and thus higher chart position. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalafina_discography was just a little better than blaze.

maybe thats why they went for a mainstream popular francise for the next single.

Sadly we all know that's true. It seems a lot of sales for anisong singles come from people supporting the shows, not the artist. That said I haven't bought a copy yet due to money constraints, despite it being the best single in a couple of years.

And sadly in top10 dominates: nogizaka46, keyakizaka46 and HKT48... so the concurrency was big. The popularity of Kalafina decreased last years. I wait for single like magia, ttb, hikari furu or KnGnN

^ this is because its an OVA so not many people get to watch it (only those who buy it, or those who watch the streaming on the known websites), and there have been 2 delays of release too, so that makes people forget it even comes out. Also they delayed so much to release this single, that people who were hiped when the animation was announced, never learned that Kalafina will release the song, as not everyone visits the official website of the anime every few days to check out. And i guess its similar for RHH.

Itw/marchen first week sales number is actually lower than blaze lmao even though it charted higher. 10.2k vs 10.6k.

Nah I like ITW more also. I feel Marchen is stuck in limbo between bgm soundtrack and being a single.
In other news, I haven't pooped yesterday and I'm now eating Chicken curry. At work. With four more hours on the clock. We all know how this episode ends.
