ニューシングル「into the world / メルヒェン」2017年4月5日(水)リリース決定!

現在NHK総合テレビにて放送中の「歴史秘話ヒストリア」のエンディングテーマ曲 「into the world」、西尾維新の人気小説を原作としたOVA作品「クビキリサイクル 青色サヴァンと虚言遣い」のエンディングテーマ「メルヒェン」、が両A面シングルとして2017年4月5日(水)にリリースとなることが決定しました。

Seems like they have the Into the world PV in first 2 LEs editions and the Marchen PV only in the Anime Edition, but in that one they dont have the Into the world one LOL nice trick, SME =_=
 
but in the Marchen as zaregoto ending thread there was also discussion on the show and the music by Kajiura... since the songs are used for 2 different shows i don't see any reason to make one single thread because they're included in one single. it's not like we haven't heard the full version of into the world already lol
 
I suspect the Marchen PV is either clips from the anime or simply the ending credits sequence.

It's a PV + no credits ending... perhaps??

It's good to notice that the label is SACRA already, I guess that this could explain the delay to release these singles.

I am praying for quality PV's and covers... pleease, the previous ones were super disappointing.
 
Yes @ ritardando, DVD for anime edition has both the ED without credits and the PV for Marchen.

I believe both PVs were filmed way before the label was even created, so they will be made by the usual SME staff, however we might get better coverarts.

in Sony's terminology MV = PV

the thread lock is only for 1-2 days, and i put it so that members dont discuss the same topic on multiple threads.
 
I wonder what they're going to do with the covers, presumably it'll be pretty standard fare. Sadly I don't expect much from the PV because, well, it's a Kalafina PV. They've never been good at doing much other than just wandering around singing in various locations.

I hope the full song of Märchen is good and both PVs are too. I do think it's odd that they're releasing together even though the songs have nothing to do with each other or the same show.... I guess for the RHH people who buy it's "here's an amisong to go with your song" and the Zaregoto buyers it's "here's a song from a TV drama to go with your song" :XD:

Interested to see what the cover is because the songs and shows are nothing alike.

(Btw @george1234 shouldn't you update the title to say "20th single"?)

Still, DVD-only is peculiar so I wouldn't be surprised if it's like ufotable edits for oblivious and sprinter.
 
I wonder how label chance make a diffrence in release... - cover, MV... I hope for epic cover and nice MV - more creative. I think that Marchen and into the world are great songs.
