Kalafina Calendar 2013

sony should hire kalafina fans to do the work. geez. at least the fandom will know how NOT to make their angels look odd.

if this is the cover, i wonder about the rest. maybe i should get one when cdj offers a discount.


how do i petition to sony to have 'relaxed/casual' as kalafina's calendar theme? or.. i dunno.. a calendar called Kalafina Funshots? photos all taken by the angels themselves. /dreams
 
I can only say that Keiko looks nice. snip off those threads on her dress, though.

Hikaru should do away with those things on her wrists. ditto with the threads yank them outt! :blood:


Wakana... :omg: her sleeve! do away with the sleeves, and also do away with those fake "trash bags" hanging around her waist... yea.

No problems with their hairstyle though. :plot:
 
I'm all for the Kalafina Choice pictures tbh, it would be much better than the disappointment that this calendar seems to be building up to.

I'm also hugely for the casual calendar theme, too. It'd be great to see Hikaru waltzing around being the Stylish Queen of Style.
 
maybe the clothes might look different if shot from another angle.. hmmm... or arranged in another way... i dunno. but oh man, something tells me the photog shot the pics without waiting for kalafina to settle on their poses.



oh! an idea! hikaru says she changes her dressing to suit the songs right? for recordings and all.

that makes about 11 outfits for the after eden album (if it was 1 song 1 outfit kinda thing).

and here we have, 11 pics for 11 months! just for hikaru! throw in one concert attire and we're set for a year's worth of hikaru-ness.

and thats only 1/3 of the calendar, because we still have keiko and wakana to add in! one person, 12 pictures... 36 visual goodness! :dote:
 
I dunno, I still get the feeling they'd look like ragged bits of cloth after an attack by a mad axeman with a burning grudge against Ita outfits.

I just think that the photographer doesn't really give six shits either way, 'cause like I said, the Kalafina girls are definitely not ugly. It has to take concious effort to snap a picture so unflattering.

But yeah, casual outfits sound amazing. I've always wanted insight into what Narnia-like clothes line Wakana's closet, plus Keiko and Hikaru always seem to look that much more awesome in casual than in the actual outfits.

idk, aside from the Storia/Hikari no Senritsu/To The Beginning dresses, I don't really like Kalafina's style. It seems really theatrical and stupid, so.
 
@xcad: no offense but your calculations are wrong. Check here (bottom) http://canta-per-me.net/yukis-vocalists/kalafina/. Till Seventh Heaven they had 3 singles, + 1 of Seventh Heaven = 4 dresses, 4 singles for Red Moon + 1 of the album = 5 dresses, 2 singles for After Eden + 1 of the album = 3 dresses, so in total 10 dresses from till now albums + 2 for moonfesta and TTB = 12 dresses for Hikaru and 12 for each of the other girls.
 
No, s/he wasn't talking about official dresses, s/he was talking about the fact that Hikaru wore her own clothes in a theme to the recording sessions to capture the "feel" of the album.

I think that's what they were talking about, anyway.
 
Those dresses are disaster. Keiko's face even is basically saying "Please save me from this ultra ridiculous outfit!"
 
She probably looks that way because she seems to be one of the most fashion-concious, and she's not a good enough actress to cover up her distaste.

gonna get this calendar. coz im super curious to know about the rest of the pics used, and my office desk needs a calendar. and what better but to be able to stare at kalafina before/during/after work? xD

Hmmmm I'm not appalled but not impressed ( I prefer their 2012 photos) . For some reason the girls look much older here , and I agree that the hems of the dresses could have been nicer :uh..: Curious to see what the other photos are like though :sohappy: :sohappy:
 
I'm not spending money on something that I could have done better in every single way, lmfao.
 
only way I'm buying it is if it's on sale during the december holiday sale period.......!!!!!!! :sohappy:
 
Srsly. There's something seriously wrong if they look better in their normal everyday pictures than a proper photo shoot. Hikaru has the best "serious" look of the three. Keiko looks like what most people said. As for Wakana, I personally think she looks like someone just killed her favorite pet in front of her face the moment the shutter clicked. Here's to hoping the rest of the calendar looks better.
 
I suppose the cover is usually one of the best pictures taken. Thus, I wonder what the other photos are like :omg:
 
I think Keiko's dress is the nicest...the black bits on Wakana and Hikaru's skirts are a little strange lol :XD: I love how Wacchan has one eyebrow raised, like

*sees self in mirror*

"omg, is that what I look like?!"

I think I'll get it when it's slightly cheaper... :cry:
